Chapter 1- The news

BELLE'S POV

School just ended and I'm skating home on my skateboard. I was so happy it was summer again, I couldn't wait to have the house with just mom and me. While Cam goes to spend the summer with his friends, mom and I usually go to concerts, have lazy days, go paintballing, and we always go on our anual roadtrip with one of my friends Makenzie. Last year we went to Black Butte Ranch Oregon and we got THE best spa treatments ever, we went hiking, and horseback riding. The year before that we went to Lake Tahoe and we stayed at Hyatt Regency Lake Tahoe Resort and it was a lot of fun. This year we're going to Arizona, but the different thing about this is that its our 5th year so we are going all over arizona. We'll go to the Grand Canyon, Castles and Coasters, The Pheonix Zoo, which was supposed to be really fun, pretty, and beautiful at night. We're also going to Arizona Snow bowl! We are just California girls trying to see some snow. It's a really pretty ski resort and I'm really excited. On nother note Makenzie and I are huge disney fans and we all know that Arizona is part of the setting in the movie cars so we're pretty excited.

I got home and my mom was talking to someone on the phone and my brother was texting someone. I decided to go up to my room to pack for the road trip. Once I had all the clothes I wanted to bring on my bed, I pulled out my suitcase from the shelf in my closet and layed it on the floor. I put all of my clothes into the bag and zipped it up. We wouldn't leave for another week so I would pack my toiletries until then. I set my suitcase near my door and walked downstairs to get some Dr. Pepper. I got the 2L Dr. Pepper bottle out of the refrigerator and poured myself a glass. "Isabelle I've got some bad news" my mom said, "Yea I kind of figured when you called me Isabelle, what is it?" I asked. "Well I have to go on an important buisness trip for 2 months" she said. "We can still go on the road trip right?" I said hopefully. "Sweetie, I don't know if we'll have enough time. I know you were looking forward to this, but we can go to Arizona next year." She said. "Mom this was the 5th year, we can't just skip a year and say that's the 5th year. And where am I going to be while you're gone?" I asked disappointed. "You are going with Cameron and his friends for the summer." She said "The entire summer?!" I said "Isabelle, you could have a lot of fun if you just let yourself. " She said in a calm voice. "I guess" I said disppointed. "Don't worry sweety it'll be fun" she said kissing my head and going upstairs to her room probably to pack.

"So since I'm going to be spending the entire summer with you and your friends can I know what they look like?" I asked. "Yea, well you already know Nash, this is Carter, this is Shawn, this is Jack G, this is Jack J, this is Taylor, this is Aaron, this is Matthew, and this is Hayes." He said quickly. I just sat there for a second. "You got it?" he asked knowing he said it really fast and I probably didn't get it. "Yep" I took his phone from his hands, "'Thats Carter, thats Shawn, thats Jack G, thats Jack J, thats Taylor, thats Aaron, thats Matthew, and thats Hayes" I said with a smirk. "Ok I have to say that was pretty good." he said messing up my hair. I just gave him a glare and fixed my hair. "Wait so are we going somewhere?" I asked. "Actually they're coming to us this summer amd then we're going to start to travel" he said
