The Shoe Started It all

Chapter 9

Anne's POV

I woke up earlier than my alarm clock which was weird cuz I would normally just ignore my alarm. It was still 5:30 in the morning so I decided to sleep again but I can't.

I stood up and did my morning routines. Then went outside to cook breakfast.

I finished cooking breakfast around 6:00. I walked back to my room and did my morning routine.

While I was brushing my teeth, I heard my alarm go on at my bedroom, I went out and turned off the alarm and went back into the bathroom to wash my mouth and changed into black jogging pants and a cream white fluffy sweater.

I went to Abby's room to wake her up but ended getting slapped in the face.

"Abby wake up!! You're gonna be late!" I shouted at her ear but instead of waking up and washing her self she just freaking slapped me! After a few attempts she still wouldn't wake up so i decided to just leave her.

"We have to tell her already" Uncle's voice said to Aunt. I decided to move closer so i can hear properly.

"No not yet, She's not old enough" Auntie said looking at Uncle.

"She's already old enough to know about this." Uncle said looking from his newspaper.

"An——" Auntie was about to say something but she was cut off by uncle who coughed and spoke all of a sudden.

"Hi Anne" Uncle said looking at me and then at Auntie. I wonder what they were talking about. Aunt was about to say my name... right? But why though...

"Hi Uncle Hi auntie" I said and waved a bit.

Auntie cleared her throat so we both looked at her.

"Where's our breakfast" Aunt snapped at me all of a sudden.

"I'll get it." I told uncle who stood up.

I grabbed some pancakes from the pan and placed it on a plate then handed them to auntie and uncle.

"Where's Abby?" Uncle asked after eating his pancakes. They looked around to see if Abby was anywhere in sight when I remembered that I left her.

"Oh shoot!" I said and auntie and uncle looked at me while I ran all the way to Abby's room and knocked as hard as I can before opening the door. When I opened the door I saw Abby groaning and muttering a few words that I didn't understand.

"Abby!" I shouted at her ear before shaking her.

"What what what?!" She said looking around panic visible in her eyes. When she realized it was me she just rolled her eyes.

"Oh it's you" she said and it was my turn to roll my eyes.

"Yah it's me. Come on wake up or else we'll be late" I told her shaking her a bit.

"I said later" she said and closed her eyes. I was about to shout at her ear when somebody suddenly knocked on the door. I jumped a little because I was surprised. I turned around and saw Uncle at the door. He smiled warmly at me before looking at where Abby is. When I looked at where she was, she was already gone. I stood up and started finding her when I heard the sound of water splashing in the bathroom. I signed in relief and slumped my shoulders and sat at the edge of the bed. I looked up to uncle and mouthed a thank you while he just nodded his head and walked out of the room.

I knew Auntie would get mad at me once Abby was late.... again since I didn't wake her up. And I ended up being punished...badd.

After a while I decided to pack some breakfast for Abby. When I finished packing her breakfast I handed it to her and placed her lunch box in her backpack.
