Chapter 2

Ashton's POV

The time was 7:03am. Just under an hour before I need to get ready for work. I tried to go back to sleep but I just couldn't so instead, I plugged my headphones into my phone and layed in bed.

"summer has come and past, the innocent can never last, Wake me up when September ends"

Green Day started playing, one of my favorite bands.

After many songs had played, it was finally 8am. I had breakfast and got ready for work. I had to myself look presentable for my first day of work.

I took the bus to work, as my car was still back home. It was a twenty minute bus ride and then a 5 minute walk from the bus stop to the restaurant. It was only 9:35am when I go to work and it didn't open until 10:30 but James wanted to show me around and tell me what I would be doing and what my shifts would be.

This was one of them restaurants that everyone loved to come to, so it opened a bit earlier than the others because they serve late breakfasts as well as the usual food.

It was now 10:42 and some people had came in for some food. "You remember what you have to do?" James asked. "yeah" I was a waiter I had to ask people what they wanted and then serve it to them when it was ready. It wasn't rocket science, with James watching your every more to make sure you were getting it right you would though.

It began to get busier around 12 and more of the staff started coming to work. God they knew exactly what times it gets busy. I looked around the room and noticed a girl wearing a similar outfit to me. She had blonde, medium length hair which was in a pony tail and beautiful eyes which were a bluey grey colour. She was stunning. I couldn't read her name though because she was too far away. I need to talk to her but not while I'm working.

"Did you like your first day?" James caught me on my way out. "yeah, its a nice restaurant" "yeah the customers are polite. I saw you looking at one of the waitresses earlier. Do you like her?" "I haven't even spoken to her" I wish I had though. "Well you can speak to her tomorrow night because your on the same shift as her. oh and her name is Alexandra. See you tomorrow mate" "yeah, see you tomorrow" I actually can't wait to go to work, and see her; Alexandra.
