The last bell rings telling us schools over.I walk out the room and to my locker.I grab my bag and walk back to my classroom.While walking there I bump into a girl.
" Watch were the fuck your going"she says.
" Sorry "I said.
" Whatever. Whats your name"she asks.
"Dajah.Yours?"I say.
" Jasmine"she said.
" Were you going.?"I ask.
" Detention you to?''she said.
" Yup."I say.
We walk to the same homeroom and sat down.
" I see dandre is here"i whispered.
" Yeah"she whispered back.
The teacher came in and sat at the desk. I pulled out my phone and gave Jasmine my number.
"I will be back in a little bit.Dont go anywhere"the teacher says.
" Want to come over today after this?"I ask.
" Sure"Jazz said.
After Detention
We walk out the school and go to my car.I start driving right away.
" Why did you come to school for the last month?"jazz asks.
" I dont know.I didn't want to sit in my house every day"i said.
She nodded.
I stop the car and get out.My jaw drops.I run up and grab my baby and kiss her face.
" Baby what are you doing here?"I ask.
" Jacob went to jail so London has to live with you " jacobs auntie says.
My eyes start to water.And yes I am a mother. I got pregnant at 15 and my daughter had to live with her dad for a couple years but that was a year ago. Now my baby girl is with me . London is 1 year old.
"Well I gotta go . Heres her bags."Jacobs auntie said.
" Okay thanks"i said.
Then she left.Jasmine came up behind me.
" She is soooo cute."jazz said.
" Thanks.Lets go inside"i say.
