Omg look at this. I'm not dead (or maybe I am) lol. Anyways I have finally updated aha! Its like 600 words long which makes this my shortest chapter yet ;-;. oh well. i finally updated so thats fun!
No way. He can't be alive. How... I thought- ...but....but....at...least...he's back.
An uncontrollable smile appeared on my face and with a heart warming smile I opened my arms and said
"Welcome back..... onii-san."
"Its good to be back Yukio." ---------------------------------------------------
(Yukio's p.o.v)
I couldn't believe my eyes. Blinking multiple times making sure I wasn't hallucinating (?).
Was I dreaming? He doesn't seem fake. This is reality Yukio, I told myself. My brother, my brother who was kidnapped around 10 years ago returned, returned to me and now I'm hugging him.
This can't be real....
"Rin...Rin is it really you?" I asked hesitantly with fear that this is all just a part of my imagination.
Starting with a jog which somehow turned into a sprint I ran into my elder brothers arms. With a tearfilled face I cried and sobbed into the arms of the person I thought I was never going to see again.
With my body shaking from the amount of...emotions...that was running through my system Rin's arms felt sturdy, warm and safe. Slowly raising my head I looked at his face studying him carefully almost as if I had forgotten what he looks like which is impossible. Everyday since my brothers disappearance I took 5 minutes to look at our family photo. Remembering all the happy memories, and the sad memories.
But enough of that sentimental stuff! My long lost brother is back and that's all I care for at this moment in time.
(Rin's P.O.V )
I held his body close to mine as his body shook with each sob. With a gentle smile I hugged Yukio and soothed him as he cried.
'Too bad that I'm not actually on his side since I'm actually on a mission for father'
As my objective came rushing back to me my smile slowly dissapered. I feel so conflicted. My reunion with my brother cause unfamiliar feelings to course through me
'What is this feeling?'
I felt Yukio moving as he looked up at me. Plastering the smile on my face again I saw him studying my face as if I was going to disappear right before his eyes. Chuckling I said
"Take a picture, it'll last longer"
Gaining a chuckle from yukio I was satisfied. Taking a moment to look at his clothes I realized that it was an uniform. Confused I asked "Are you going to high school now?"
The surprise on his face was evident. Well I guess it's not surprising considering the fact that I wasn't all that observent before my 'dissapearence' more like kidnapping...
I was broken out of my thoughts when Yukio answered
"Yeah, I'm going to high school now... for exorcists"
Now it was my turn to be surprised.
"E-exorcists? Like the people who kill demons..?"
"Yeah..."
Guilt was written all over his face. I can only assume that he knew of my- no our heritage as the demon King's sons. Well I guess it wasn't much of a secret since our father (the demon king) came and possessed the old man (Father Fujimoto) spouting all the crap about finally possessing his body blah blah blah you get it don't cha?
With a shaky voice I managed to ask
"Do they know?"
He slowly nodded and I guess I was expecting that answer. I mean a school for exorcist to NOT know that Yuki and I are half demons would be surprising.
I decided to not ask anymore questions regarding the topic and instead asked which school his was attending.
