Chapter 23-
Alexis POV-
"You've managed to accomplish plenty of chaos, you know." Death said sitting on his couch.
"Well... you know me always making a scene." I said laughing taking a seat across from him.
"Alexis why did you run away from your mate?" He asked his tone serious.
"You know why, besides I was endangering his pack." I said coldly.
"Clearly you fail to realize he can help you." He said taking a swig of his wine.
"Well Ares, god of chaos and distraction... I like you can't stand loosing people." I said through gritted teeth.
"Why did you want me here anyways, if I'd known you'd be lecturing me I would have left." I said glaring at him.
"I brought you with me because your mate is most likely looking for you. Not to mention the fact that you're a wanted rouge and your one of my friends." He said looking at me with his poker face.
"Look Ares, you don't need to take care of me leave the past in the past that includes favors." I said getting up to leave.
"I'm only taking care of you because you're father left me in charge of you." He said blandly. He knew he struck a nerve.
"I for one can take care of myself you know that better then anybody... you should know.... you where there." I said walking to the guests room.
Ares POV-
"I'm only taking care of you because you're father left me in charge of you." I said blandly. I stuck a nerve that was for sure.
"I for one can take care of myself you know that better then anybody... you should know.... you where there." She said walking away to the guests room.
Flash back-
"Ares do it." My Alpha said glaring at me. Alexis dad took me in a young boy. He knew what I was a monster.
"KILL HIM!" He demanded in his Alpha tone.
"Ahhhh" I yelled killing the rouge that had set foot on Dark Grove pack.
"Very well, you've past your test. Follow me." My Alpha Harriote stated.
Walking to the pack house I made my way in behind him. Alexis running down the stairs to say hi. Before she could make it half way he said. "You know what to do." My Alphas voice came out cold and menacing.
Using my telepathic power I flung her to the wall.
She groaned out in pain stood up and right away understood what was happening. She ran towards me to my surprise she had weapons with her.
She flung one at me grasing my ear.
We fought on one to one combat. Her punches and kicks strong. I kept punching her she kicked me on my chest sending me flying across the room breaking through a wall I got back up and kept fighting.
We went on like this for hours. Near the end we were both breathless. Bleeding, bruised, and in serious need of medical help.
We stood there looking at each other both our breaths coming out jagged. "What are you two doing just standing there?" Heriot asked coldly glaring at both of us.
"I. Won't. Kill. Him." Alexis said the same cold town as her father know glaring at him the same way.
"You'll do as I say! Know kill him!" He roared.
"No! I'll let him live! Out of all my Friends who are know dead because of me, he's the only Friend I've ever had make it this far. I won't kill him." She said walking away clutching her stomach.
"Fine. I'll kill him." Heriot said coldly walking towards me.
"You kill him and I will never BECOME THE ALPHA OF THIS PACK!" Alexis yelled in her Alpha tone.
"Koda!" Heriot yelled.
"Yes Alpha." Koda the beta came in.
"Take them both to the dungeons." Heriot said coldly.
"Why did you kill me?" I asked.
"Because what I said is true, and you are a great fighter I had loads of fun honestly." She said giving me a small smile.
End of Flash back.
Alexis POV-
I can't believe that after all this time I still have my friend. A relative.
'Im here for you' I heard Benny though my mind link.
'Keep dreaming' I said blocking him out.
I won't lie I am depressed. My wolf hasn't spoken to me. And I just want to cry all day. But I can't.
"Hey Alexis I think you have a visitor." Ares called from outside my door.
"Who the fuck is it?" I yelled out.
"Some guy says he's your mate." Ares stated.
"What the fuck." I said to myself.
I stood up went to the door and once I stepped out i the smell of mint and woods hit me all at once.
"Alexis!" Benny yelled running up to me trying to give me a hug.
I dogged him grabbing his arm and spinning him in the air allowing him to fall on his back.
"Ouch that's gotta hurt." Ares said laughing.
"Ares can you please step outside." I stated glaring at him.
"What was that for?" Benny asked getting up.
"That was for not listening to me." I said coldly.
"Well I can't be without you what do you want me to tell you?" Benny asked glaring at me.
"I want you to stay away from me, I want you to keep your pack safe, and I want you to let me go!" I said breaking down I couldn't take it anymore.
Sobbing I fell to the floor.
"Hey... it's okay... come here." Benny said carrying me bridal style and sitting me in his lap saying soothing words into my ear.
"It's not okay... I don't want to loose you to Benny." I said crying into his chest.
"You won't loose me, I'm to big to hide anywhere." He said trying to lighten up the mood.
"Why are you such a big dummy." I said calming down.
"I don't know." He said leaning in.
I looked into his eyes they were so inviting, soft and gental. I leaned in a little bit but stopped. I looked down but was stopped by a hand in y Chung making me look up again.
"Don't do that." He said in slow voice.
"Do what?" I asked confused.
"Don't look away from me." He said as he closed the little gap his lips meeting mine. It was a soft kiss, full of love.
I surprised myself when I stared kissing him back. It was soft and gental, reassuring.
Breaking away for air I leaned my head on his shoulder. "Let me help you." Benny said leaning his chin on my head. "Okay." I said with a small smile but also feeling defeated.
