The loud roar of the demon behind him made him run faster. He wish he didn't have to do that, his legs hurt like hell. But he knew he had to. He crashed into the tape player and held the tape close to it. He looked back at the newly larger demon, he didn't know why, but he felt like he had to

The large demon was simply watching him, a large gritting frown was press across its face

"A-aren't you gonna stop me?" Henry huffed "I-i am s-seconds away from killing you again"

The demon didn't move. It knew that it would die once Henry puts that tape in, it probably didn't care anymore

"Your just gonna give up?"

His words caused the demon off guard

He turned his body fully to the demon and stretched his arms out is frustration"You just gonna let me kill you? Like all those hundreds of times I killed you before? Aren't you sick of it?"

The demon grunted and moved its horns to the side, it didn't like that statement

"I get that your tired! I am to" he looked at the tape "but giving up shouldn't be the only answer"

He examined the tape closely before looking at his face through the wet ink on his hands

He looked back at the tape and gripped it tightly "Joey wants a happy ending?...." he lifted the tape up as high as his arms could reach "them I'll give him a REAL happy ending!" He slammed the tape onto the cold, hard ground. Shattering it in an instant. The tape, never to be used again

The demon stepped back in shock. Did he really just do that?

"No more loops.... no more resets. It's over"

The demon focused its gaze onto Henry.

Henry looked up at the demon and smiled "were free buddy"

The demon let a wobbly smile glide across its face. It's smile made Henry smile wider. He was surprised when the demon picked him up and hugged him tight, but not to the point of crushing the old man

Henry couldn't help but let out a laugh of pure joy, he was finally free. Free from joeys stupid games, free from the guilt and hate of this studio! For the first time in s long time, the two were happy, genuinely happy! But were they actually free? They just had to wait and see

Henry didn't notice at first that the larger demon was shrinking down into its more humanoid form. Still hugging that man that cared for him

He patted the demons back "bendy?"

Bendy shot a glance at him

"Let's go home buddy" he said with a sigh

Bendy nodded and un-hugged the man. He held his hand and helped guide him out of the machine. They didn't even think about what Tom and Alison would think until...

"HENRY!"

"Oh no..."

"HENRY! LOOK OUT! THE DEMON IS BEHIND YOU!"

"Alice please-" henry called out

Bendy put his gloves hand over Henry's mouth to shut him up. He picked Henry up like a child and waded across the inky river, ink sticking to the sides of his body like glue. He placed Henry down onto the solid ground once he reached the other side. Alice and Tom quickly pulled Henry away from the demon who was just simply standing at the rivers edge

Henry pulled his arms away from the two "guys stop it! He's not bad!"

"He's the ink demon" Alice argued "he could kill you!"

"But he didn't!" Henry yelled. He stood between them and bendy "he may have killed people, but it's because he was confused... and scared!" He looked at bendy "right buddy"

Bendy nodded, even though he knew Henry wasn't entirely correct

"Just please give him a chance!"

" 'give him a chance?' " Alice bickered

"I know it's hard to believe, but please just try!"

Alice and Tom shared a glance at each other. They were sceptical, they didn't trust the demon one bit. But it couldn't hurt to try, right?

"Please guys!"

Alice sighed "just...... just give us a moment" she took Tom by the hand onto the next room to chat

"Well at least they trust you enough to leave me alone with ya buddy" he turned his body to fully face the demon "I guess we should catch up on everything huh?"

The demon whined and sat down at the rivers edge. Henry sat down beside him and rested his arms against his legs. He stared at himself in the inky river

"I'm sorry it took this long for me to do that. To break the cycle I mean"

Bendy glanced at Henry for a moment, he looked back at the ink machine
