I opened my eyes and tried to get up but got kicked back down. I felt the long-lasting pain and saw him go towards the door. Was he leaving? I closed my eyes and didn't move just in case he came back. When the door closed, I waited until there was silence and tried to get up. I groaned and felt like vomiting as I stood up. I saw my legs and arms. They were bruised and scratched. Blood was coming out and I tried walking to the nearby bathroom. Then I heard a crash from the living room. What was that?
