BAD BOY - JEON JUNGKOOK

Chapter 5

JUNGKOOK watch as she occasionally run a hand through her hair, tilting her head as she focus fully on the lesson.

He notice that whenever she look down to take notes, her brown hair would fall over her shoulders gently, and she will tuck them behind her ears.

He didn't know why but today, he can't seem to focus on lessons and spent most of his time thinking of how to be a good friend to her.

I'll make sure to be the best friend she would ever have, He thinks to himself, smiling foolishly as he stares at her focused back.

"Jeon Jungkook," Their chemistry teacher calls out, making the boy jump as their whole class turn to him, confused at why the good student is daydreaming.

"Y-Yes?" He mumbles, sitting up straighter before looking at Arin, who also turns to face him in confusion. Both of them blink as they make eye contact.

"Can you tell me what kind of reaction is this?" His teacher challenge, narrowing his eyes on Jungkook as he points the laser to the question on the projector. Jungkook gulp, eyes scanning the question quickly.

Shit, I wasn't paying attention, He thinks, before averting his gaze back to Arin who is frowning, waiting for his answer. Upon seeing that he didn't answer, Arin mouth the answer to him.

"It's condensation polymerization," Jungkook said, trusting her. Upon hearing his answer, the teacher raise an eyebrow, nodding in agreement.

"Please pay attention."

"Yes, sir," He sigh out, before smiling at Arin who nodded her head cutely, turning back to focus on the lesson.

It is finally lunch time and the students rush out of the jail-like classroom, not wasting another minute to get food into their empty stomach.

Arin take her time to pack her stationeries into her pencil case, zipping it up before a blue hair male came running into the classroom.

Jimin, Jungkook and Arin pause their actions, watching as the male zoom in, standing beside Arin's table with a smile on his face.

"Hey, wanna eat lunch together?" Yoongi asks, shoving his hands into his pockets as he waits for her answer.

She always ate lunch with Tricia from her class. Even though they're not close friends, their personalities clicked well together and they seem to be able to relate with each other well. But today, Tricia is absent and if Yoongi didn't ask her to eat with him, she will have to eat alone. She didn't have any problem eating alone, but since the guy asked, might as well right?

"Yeah, sure," She replies, fishing out for her wallet and phone as she stood up from the chair. Jungkook's eyes widen at how fast she agreed.

She would never agree so fast if I was the one who asked.

"Will your friends be alright with it?" She asks softly.

"I'm sure they are. They're really friendly, don't worry!" Yoongi smiles, patting her shoulder.

A small pout appear on Jungkook's face as an unknown tingling sensation grew in his chest. He watch intently as Jimin laughs, cheering happily as he is excited about a girl that he knows, finally joining them for lunch.

He trails behind them quietly as they make their way out of the classroom, heading towards the cafeteria to join the remaining group of friends.

Taehyung, Hoseok and Jin are already seated at their usual spot, munching on their food before their eyes land on Arin who is walking with the three boys, heading towards their direction.
