"Turn left in 200 metres."

"Alright, alright! Fucking GPS." I muttered.

The little machine was really annoying me now.

"Don't be so hard on it." Liti said from the passenger seat. The other two were sleeping in the back and the body was lying in the boot. Okay, no bodies. I was obviously the one driving, trying to keep my eyes open and on the road.

"Turn left."

"ARGHHHH! SHUT UP YOU LITTLE PRICK!" I growled and slammed the device down hard, making it fall with a clatter past my dashboard and under my seat.

I took a sip of Liz's coffee and recoiled at the shitty, bitter taste of the drink. At least it saves me from hitting a deer or something, I thought and gulped another round of liquid-stomach-burners. Out side, the sky was slowly brightening as the sun began to rise.

"Isn't it beautiful?" Liti said, looking at the horizon, smiling. She was always smiling.

"Not when you can't see it." I grumbled, squinting my eyes in a desperate attempt to block out the blinding light. It took me a few minutes to adjust to the sunlight and take in the scenery.

We were on a road on the hillside with trees on the right and miles upon miles of plains and forests. Sure, I loved the countryside but I wasn't feeling particularly energetic. I have BPD but only my energy levels are cranky, so my mood still stays the same. Liti, on the other hand, can turn from all la-de-da to I-hate-everything real fast. But what's so tragic is that I also have ADHD, so even when I am tired and low on everything, I still can't keep still.

The trees leaned over our car creating a pretty much useless roof. But I've got to admit, Liti was right, it was beautiful when you're not half asleep and driving a car.

"Oh, Liti you alright there mate?" I asked, noticing her sudden change of mood. Her body was hunched and her fringe fell over her face, creating a shadow across her eyes. She turned to glare at me, looked away and mumbled something.

"What was that? I'm going a bit deaf here."

"It's..."

"Huh? One of your 'episodes' again? I think I left your pills somewhere... Lemme find 'em."

"It's coming..."

"Um... I'm not sure... what's coming?"

"Watch out... It's coming..."

"Liti, you're not making any sense. And that attitude is doing nothing to help, so do me a favour and stop throwing silent tantrums before I get out my - OH SHIT!"

A brown blob jumped out of the trees and right in front of the car.

THUD!

The figure went limp and fell to the ground. I scrambled out of the car and took in the sight. Well, there's one thing I can be sure of: the deer is dead.
