Her eyes fluttered open and was meeted by the bright light that was shining through the curtain.

Not only that she heard soft breathing beside her, turning his head the laid Namjoon's head on the side of the bed while his legs was sprawled on the floor. Y/n chuckled slightly, changing to a seating position. Her fingers dance through his hair, it was soft.

Not long after that Namjoon woke up, she quickly took her hand back until Namjoon grabbed it and placed it on his head again. "Don't. I like it," He said with his raspy deep voice and with a smile on his face.

"How are you feeling now dear?" The mother asked with worry laced in her voice.

"A bit better," The h/c replied, letting out a breathy laugh after. "I should come back home, who knows they're worried." For sure they don't miss her but they sure will still be furious about leaving.

"Are you sure your mom still wants you there? " Mrs. Kim asked under her breath.

"Mom wha-" Namjoon was cut off by his mom.

"I.." You were speechless, the clanking of cutlery against plates stopped.

"I know everything about you Y/n,  your mom and I used to be great friends not until that incident."

"What incident mom?" Namjoon asked, slowly putting down his spoon and fork in hand.

"Sweetie, could you give Y/n and I some privacy to talk? "

Namjoon nodded leaving the dining room in complete silence .

"Your mom.. She's a great woman.. Was to be exact. I was there when the incident happened, right in front of my eyes." She set down her cutlery down on the table, clearing her throat before continuing her sentence. "I- I could've helped her but instead I listened to what she said , run. "

"Miss Kim, what are you talking about? Didn't mom hit her head? " Y/n's eyes glistened, a hint of confusion in her eyes.

"It wasn't an accident, when your dad came home he wasn't in his right state of mind. Your mother and I were sitting down in the living room, and talked about how you and Namjoon would look good together as you both are growing up little by little hehe. Out of no where the door flung open, revealing your dad in a drunk mess. " Letting out a sigh, " Your mom knew what was gonna happen but what she didn't know was that it was way worse than what she had expected. "

"She told me to run but I didn't want to leave her side not knowing what that monster could do yet again your mother was stubborn as usual. " The elderly looked into the eyes of her friend's daughter, "And I did. Oh how I wish I didn't, I still feel guilty to this day Y/n." She sobbed, "If only I was stubborn enough to not listen and call the cops earlier, she wouldn't have been dead and you both could be much more happier than you are now. "

Y/n's eyes had a hint of anger but behind all that she was sad and frustrated, she knew her father was bad but she didn't know that he could be terrible. Both of them was a sobbing mess until Y/n decided to pull Mrs. Kim into a warm embrace. "It's not your fault, it's his fault, " Y/n sneered at the thought of her own dad, "so please don't feel any more burden on yourself. Let's just continue on our lives and hope my mom's living the best life out there. "

Y/n was a bit startled when she heard a knock on her door, she took a few minutes of rest after the sobbing mess between her and namjoon's mom.

Her feet shuffled across the warm rug, making her way to the door, she smiled a bit her puffy eyes shifted into a crescent moon seeing the broad man by her door.

"Let's get ice cream and this isn't a question, I'm forcing you to go out with me in hopes for you to feel better. "

Told y'all I'm coming back, I'll try to update a lot in a week since I have a hectic schedule with school and practice.

Oh gosh how I want to rant on how much I dislike my english teacher so bAD, I kinda wish I have english literature tho but I can't cause I'm a since stream student who has to take the three pure science 😥

But anyways new book will come out to those who like Yoonmin and other superior ships 🤠✊.

I don't really have much to talk about since I have a lot of homework but please take care of your health loves <3 it really means a lot to me 😭💖.
