Chapter 22

That night Kousuke layed awake in his bed  not being able to sleep, he turned to the clock which showed 3.30. He let a small sigh out "How did Karasu know about my parents"

Kousuke got out of his bed grabbed his cell and checked Soccor Book for Karasu on there but had no luck.

"I need to find the truth about my parents" he sighed

Kousuke left his room and made his way down the hall trying not to wake anyone else in the children's centre.

He grabbed his shoes and put a hoodie on and went out for a walk.

"Your out late" a man chuckled with a scar on his lip. Kousuke jumped and saw the man like Karasu "Im just getting some fresh air thats all"

Itsuke Haizaki was also walking about he hid behind a tree to watch on "Denji, i'll get you alone" he whisperd.

Denji then smiled "Say you look like the Takemi's son"

Kousuke gulped "Im Kousuke Takemi what do know about me"

Denji smiled and looked at the young boy "I knew your mother, we dated for a while she was going to leave your father and come to me and live, i would of been your new dad, but that didnt happen she died along with that twat in a car crash"

Kousuke looked at the man "Tell me more"

Denji smiled "She hated your dad, she regrets having a child with him, sadly that child was you"

Kousuke bit his lip "NO NO YOUR LYING"

Denji smiled "you want to bet little boy, i have the letters she wrote to me, you know if she did come and live with me you would of been a man like my son, but your nothing but a bloody worthless worm"

Kousuke let tears fall from his eyes "No its...not true"

Denji smiled and grabbed the young boy's writst "I'll show you the letters if you like, if you come with me you are free to go after reading them, if you dont come with me i'll drag you every step"

Kousuke felt the man's grip getting tigher on his wrist "I better go its getting late"

Denji pulled Kousuke "I warned you boy, now come"

Denji pulled the younger boy into his house "You sit there, and read those letters on the table"

Kousuke took a seat and started reading the letters.

Kousuke put the last letter down and cried "No...i dont believe you"

Denji smiled "Sorry worm its the truth"

Kousuke looked at the letters then at the man again "I want to go home"

Denji chuckled "Ha back to the dump"

Kousuke gave a small nod "Least i know the truth, but i dont want to believe it"

Denji chuckled "You should really worm"

Kousuke was about to get up but Denji stopped him "I'll make you a deal i'll adopted you like your mom wanted you to come here with her, would you like that son"

Kousuke gulped "Can i sleep on it" he begged.

Denji smiled "Its just a yes or no choose my boy"

Kousuke shook his head "Its a no, im sorry i cant"

Denji gave a small smile "you made a big mistake my son, and trust me this will haunt you forever and if you tell anyone what i did, i will come and find you and trust me i will harm you"

Kousuke ran out of the house and ran back to the children's centre, panting heavily, tears falling from his eyes and a bruise on his wrist from when Denji held him tight.

Kousuke slowly went back inside and made his way to his room, lying back on his bed and looking at his clock which now showed 5.45

"Only 15 mins, then i need to get up for school" he sighed.
