the other members were scattered in their rooms as hyunjin entered the dorms and he let the door crash loudly behind him. seungmin entered through the door as hyunjin began to pace.
the boys exchanged glances, then seungmin held up the boy's phone, saying, "you left your phone."
hyunjin shrugged it off, still irritated by his circumstances. seungmin approached hyunjin by placing both his and the other boy's phone on the kitchen table. he grasped the boy's shoulder and made him stop pacing.
"if jisung hasn't confessed, why are you so worried right now?"
"because i know he will. he's stubborn." hyunjin explained.
the door on the living room's far left swung open. jisung walked out, his gaze fixed on seungmin. he sighed and approached the two as their tall began.
"don't worry, i'm not going to confess to her." jisung assured.
hyunjin breathed a sigh of relief, "oh, thank goodness. more stress is the last thing she needs."
"i agree. it was unfair of me to focus solely on my problem when she clearly has a lot of her plate."
hyunjin patted jisung's shoulder. he knew it was difficult for jisung to postpone this confession, but he'd rather the boy save the embarrassment for another time.
"it's pretty upsetting," jisung said.
"what is?"
the three boys all turned around fast when they heard a voice behind them talking. every one of the boys terrified, their faces going bright crimson red and pink.
the first thing they noticed was her expression and how she was dressed. she was dressed in white shorts and a black hoodie with sleeves long enough to cover her hands. her hood was covering her untidy curly hair, which was falling into her eyes.
her face was flushed as well. it was clear that she had just finished crying. her eyes were both watering and puffy.
seungmin nudged hyunjin's arm after a few minutes of silence and the four of them staring at each other.
"are you sure? you all seem scared." rosey said as she walked over to the kitchen and opened one of the cabinets.
after an unsuccessful search for something snack on, she closed the cabinets and returned her gaze to the boys. the we're still in a line next to one other. she stared at them perplexed.
jisung broke out of his trance, "everything is fine, i promise. are you alright?"
"why would you ask that?" hyunjin leaned in and whispered into the boy's ear.
