Today was an important day for me cause I was actually deciding to do what Kehlani suggested. I finally decided that I was coming out to my mother. Letting her know that I am a lesbian and proud and also going to tell her about the relationship I have with Kehlani. I'm not sure how she will react, but I'm really scared and I don't know how to feel right now. I have so many questions.

"Is she gonna over react?"

"Is she going to be calm?"

"Is she going to disown me?"

"Is she gonna have open arms about it?"

I paced around the room asking myself all these questions out loud.

Kehlani walked into the room and that made me somewhat calm and I was going to tell her that I was doing it to.

"Hey baby!" I greeted hugging and kissing her.

She sucked on my bottom lip and started undressing me but I stopped her. "Baby I gotta talk to you." I said and she pouted.

"Baby can it wait? I really need you so bad right now.." she said kissing me.

"Baby the sex can wait. I really need to talk to you." I said and she rolled her eyes and sat on the bed. "What's so important?" She asked coldly and she was really starting to piss me off.

"I've decided that I wanna come out to my mother." I admitted and her annoyed facial expression left her.

"You serious?" She asked shocked.

"Yes baby yes I'm coming out to her." I smiled nervously.

"Thank you! I realized that it was time to show her the real me. So I can be fully happy with myself." I said honestly.

"You're doing the right decision baby." She said kissing me and I kissed her back.

"Thank you, I'm really trying."

"Baby! I'm so proud!" She got up and hugged me tight and I hugged her back.

She let go and so did I. "So when are you gonna tell her?" She asked.

"Today." I smiled.

"Today?" She asked shocked.

"Yes baby today." I said seeming sure about my decision.

"Don't you think you should wait until you're sure you're actually ready?" She asked concerned and I was confused.

"Weren't you the one criticizing me about hiding my sexuality from my mother and rushing me? And now that I'm ready you're trying to stop me from my decision?" I asked confused on why she's switching up.

"You're right you're right. I was the one telling you to and now I'm gonna support you and if your mother disowns you then you know you got me." She said before kissing me and I kissed her back.

"I love you so much baby." She confirmed smiling.

"I love you too baby." I smiled back. "I want to go tell her now."

"Now?" She asked making sure.

"Now."

Pulling up into my mothers drive way I had to admit I was extremely nervous and scared on how she's going to react. I was sweating and Kehlani noticed and she laughed at me but I didn't see what was funny at all.

"Baby you don't have to do this if you don't want to. We can always wait another day." She said smiling.

"NO! I'm ready to tell her okay!" I got out the car and the cold ass wind hit me and it felt amazing considering how hot I was right now.

I heard a car open and shut behind me and Kehlani stood in front of me.

"Remember what I told you." She reminded me and I nodded and she gave me a peck on the lips then headed to my mother's door.

I took a deep breath before knocking and it took this woman 30Years to open the door.

"Oh hello my child... what guest did you bring here?" She asked shaking Kehlani's hand.

"This is Kehlani." I said nervously and she looked at me confused then back at her.

"Hello you are one beautiful girl." She complimented Kehlani.

"Thank you Mrs. Hamilton." She smiled.

"Ooh respectful too?" My mother looked at me smiling. "Come in Come in." She said as we entered her home.

Nothing has changed ever since I left this house to move in with the love of my life.

"So How has my baby been?" My mother said leading me and Kehlani to her tan colored kitchen.

"Life is great ma, how about you?"I asked

"Oh you know your mama just getting old but she still know how to get low!" She said dropping it low causing me and Kehlani busted out laughing.

"You sure can get it mama." I praised.

"You know mama Hamilton still got the moves. So have you found a man yet?" She asked making herself some coffee.

"No ma. About that I have to tell you something..." I said taking a deep breath and she turned around smiling.

"What is it Doll?" She asked.

I looked at Kehlani and she looked at me. She smiled and that made me less nervous but I was still going through a frenzy of nervousness but it was time for her to know the truth about her daughter.
