*One Year Later*

It was two weeks after One Direction came to visit me that I got crutches to help build my strength back up. I still needed some help of getting around the house. Speaking of which, a month after many tests to see if I was strong enough to move around, I was moved from the hospital in DC to the hospital closer to my house.  My friends came to visit me more and updated me on what was happening at school and who was dating who. They, of course asked me about One Direction visiting me and how that was. I didn't want to tell them that I had their numbers because they would freak and ask for them.

I've been texting the boys ever since they left, updating on how I've been. Harry has communicated with me more than the others. I felt special. Like someone finally cared about me. When I was transferred to the new hospital, I was scared. The hospital in DC felt like another home. That's a bad thing I guess. The doctors examined me and released me from the hospital two weeks later. They made sure that I was ready and healthy enough for school.

I've missed a lot of school days. I was so scared that I was going to get held back. My mom informed me that the teachers have made a packet full of notes and worksheets. She also informed me that we had a meeting with all my teachers and principal the next day. In the meeting, we went over what I have been going through- obviously they didn't have a Facebook or Twitter- and the work I have missed. After the meeting, I went home to then be surprised by many friends and family. I felt loved and overwhelmed at the same time.  An array of food was out on the counter and small conversations filled the air. It was great being able to talk to everyone again. When everyone left, my mom insisted that I start working on the packets from school. I whined-I didn't want to. There was just so much work I had to catch up on. I sighed and hopped up the stairs and into my room. After three hours at trying to catch up on work, I took a long needed break. I went onto my iPhone and saw that I had many texts. I replied to all. I went onto Twitter to creep on my favorite celebrities. My followers need an update. So I tweeted:

Hey guys! I just got home and was surprised with friends and family. Now I'm trying to catch up on all the work I have missed. Bye for now

I leaned back in my chair and relaxed, satisfied to finally be alone in my room. Harry texted me.

From Harry the Sexiest Man Alive

Hey! I saw what you tweeted. Why wasn't I invited? I'm the life of the party (:

To Harry the Sexiest Man Alive

I didn't even know about the party. Plus you have this thing called a tour..

I hit send and went back to work. I finished up English since it was my easiest subject. The rest of the evening I ate dinner and went back to working, this time history. My mom interrupted me and informed me that we were going to church the next day and that I should get some well needed rest. I agreed, got my crutches and moved onto my bed. My mom had to help me get my pajamas on. It was hard and painful but we finally got them on. I said goodnight and plopped onto my bed. I tried going to sleep by my eyes decided to stay open. I played some games on my phone, lost most, and checked Facebook. I didn't want to say that I was heading to church tomorrow; I wanted it to be a surprise.

I didn't remember falling asleep. I opened my eyes to see the sun was shining through my window. My phone was hidden under my covers. My cat was sleeping at the end of the bed but quickly moved towards me when she saw that I was awake. My ribs still hurt, a lot, so moving around in bed was painful. I slowly got up. I decided that I didn't need my crutches to walk around my room. I looked through my drawers, grabbed what I was going to wear, and headed to the bathroom. It took about 2 hours to get ready. We went to our silver minivan and headed to church. Some people were standing outside the building talking. As soon as they saw our van, they stopped their conversation and watched us. When I hopped out of the van and started moving to the doors, they smiled.
