Chapter Two

"Let's go hunny," my said to me. We walked to our yellow VW Bug and hopped in. We drove away from the court house,back to my grandmas. We have been living with her since last year, when all the stuff came ouy. Our old house is in the nieghborhood next to us, where Paul still lives. We pulled into the drive way and stopped the car. "Getting out?" my mom asked.

"Can go to Jessica's?" I asked. Jessica lives on my grandmas road. I've been hanging out with her since we have lived here. She is fifteen to.

"Sure, but be back before dark," she answered. I got out the car and ran down rhe street to her house. I knocked on the door.

Her mother came to the door, "oh, Rosey come on in." Rosey is my nick name, alot of people call me it, and so did my dad. I walked in amd went to Summer's room.

"Wow!" she said when I walked in the door. "What are you wearing?" she asked. I was wearing a black knee legnth dress with short sleeves.

I laughed, "my mom made me where it to court." I sat down beside her on the purple carpet.

"Oh, yea how did it go?" she asked.

I looked down, "good, it went good."

She looked at me, "do you think he'll win?"

"No, I hope not," I said.

"Do you want him to go to prison?" She said.

"I dont know," I said.

"Do you hate him?" She asked.

"Can we talk about something else?" I said.

"Well, im actually leaving in a little bit. Im going to the mall with Emily," she said.

I stood up, "bye."

Walking out the door I heard Summer yell, "Rosey, wait!" But, I didmt listen I just walked back home.

When I walked in the door Rickey ran up to me, "Rosey." Rickey is my three year old little brother.

I picked him up, "hey buddy, what you been doing?"

"I-I planted stuff," he said.

I laughed, "you did?"

"And he was a big help," my grandma said.

"Where's daddy?" He asked. Which he always does. I jusg cant belive he remembers his name after a year.

"I dont know bud," I said tp him and put him down. I walked into my room to take a nap. I layed down and dowsed off into my dream.
