"No sir," I said with my voice cracking at every word.

The robot took hold of my shirt collar,

"Now will you do it the next time I ask you?" the robot official said with an inhuman voice.

It didn't wait for an answer. The monster gave me off to two other robots, they were going to take me away, and I knew it. What a horrible mistake I made. I didn't know if I would see my family ever again. At my age I didn't think they gave you a life sentence like the others. I only heard of the things they make you do when you disobey. I didn't want to think of it, not when I was about to find out if the rumors were real. They carried me off into a box, it was dimly lit, and there was a steel cot with a toilet and a little slot for your food to come through. The two robots threw me into it, with there super strong strength I hit the wall with a thud. The door closed and I was left alone to think. All that came to mind was how the machines came to power,

At first we used them for everyday use; we gave them a living quality, which meant they could think for themselves. For example, we did that so they would be able to find things without us telling them where it was. At first it was great. They were our working slaves. Everything we needed they got for us. We made them without feelings, so they couldn't be hurt mentally. When a robot malfunctioned we would dispose of the one. But they devolved feelings over time, we tried to get rid of the monsters we made, we couldn't, they were overpopulating. After two years of war and struggle, the robots came to power. They made us work for them. If we put up a fight, there would be horrible consequences. (Like what I was in right now.) Sometimes we never saw our family's again. Sometimes, we would be driven mad. And for some lucky souls, they would let you go, though I didn't exactly know why.

I didn't know how long I was there, thinking. But I'm sure it was a while. The door opened, and knocked me out of my thoughts. There was a robot that I've never seen before. It wasn't like the others. I was pretty sure that it was here to lead me to that consequence I was talking about. I stood up and walked up to the door, up to my new life.
