Some stories may start the same as mine however, I can almost guarantee you that they do not head the same direction as mine. In fact, I know no one experiences the same situations as I have because everyone is an individual, unique person.

Let's just say that it all began on March the 12th of 2014...

The banging on my door would not slow nor quieten down,

"Scarlet! Get up and get ready!" Mum yells whilst opening the door to my room without my permission. She strolls over to my curtains - opening them with a force that I'm sure will put vampire speed to shame.

"You're losing daylight! Get up and do the grocery shopping for me today please. I won't be home until dinner." Mum says as she heads back towards my door and leaves.

Well, good morning to you too mum.

Reluctantly I peel the quilt off my bed. These are always the worst moments in the morning, allowing the warmth from the bed seep into the crispy cold air and be lost forever. It's like losing chocolate - you love it whilst it lasts and when it goes, you get all sad again.

Changing into some clean clothes for the day, I head out to the kitchen to find the shopping list my mum would have written in advance. Finding my keys to the car, I slip on my shoes and head outside, prepared to do some food shopping.

Prepared for food shopping being the key words here. What I don't know is that I'm going to have an extremely interesting day - something I wasn't entirely prepared for.
