so im confused bc we have a school dance every time we go home for break and since im Hispanic, yk yo girl gotta look fresh with her botas and shitt but ok moving on to the rant .
literally almost everyone was dressed up like they was going to a quince or 15 bc my school is mostly full of Hispanics.
we were doing zapateados and norteñas which are Mexican songs that people dance a certain way to.
okay so basically the night was cool and i was dancing with my best friend bc my bf doesn't go to my school and she's single .
so the dj then plays a corrido/norteña and basically my best friend and i dance together
so there was this one kid and he was looking fine asff
ik i have a bf but im being honest
he wasn't dancing with anybody and he was just chilling w his homeboys so my childish best friend goes and asks him if he wants to dance with me 😭
im shy so i kept saying that i never said that but i kept hinting that i wanted to dance with someone aka maybe him
he said sure but me being shy i denied it
later on , my best friend and i keep dancing
she asked him again for me but he said that he didn't really kno how to dance that song so we said okay and left
we asked him again like an hour later and he said yes and like it looked like he was getting ready and looked like he was about to dance w me and he looked like he was abt to hold my hand which is how you dance it w people

so i denied it again ughhh
but lowkey i really wanted to dance with him and he seemed pretty chill about it and he knew how to dance 😬😬.
like really good .
but it was just as friends so idk why i kept denying it
maybe bc the idea of holding hands with a boy and being so close to his body is awkward
and also maybe bc every time a girl and a boy would dance people would say "ooouuuu" like they looked really cute dancing and they shipped them
anyways if i did say yes at the end, we would only be able to dance like a few minutes bc it was ending
im really sad tho
bc my best friend is confident and normal unlike me and she asked him to dance and he said yes so they danced
but um she made me promise to dance with him over the next dance so betttttt ..
im going to become more confident in 2019.
not like hoeing type of confident tho 😭😂
also if you're Hispanic or maybe bc you just wanna know how to dance :
all you gotta do is but your right leg in between your partners legs and left one to the left of your partners left leg and just kinda follow what they do with their feet
one way to kno that you're doing it right is that you don't step on their feet 🤙🏼
