I. WHEN AND WHAT INFLUENCED YOU INTO WATCHING FAIRY TAIL?
To be honest, it just came across me early in life that I had a fond spot for anime in my life, but I mostly enjoyed action anime with a little bit of romance. There wasn't much to it, yet there weren't many animes that were like this. I struggled finding some, until one day my brother asked me to watch this anime and I instantly fell in love with the show and the romances and storylines throughout it (particularly gray and juvia).
II. WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO START WRITING FAIRY TAIL FANFICTION?
Well, I found as the more I watched the anime, there were tons of things I wanted to happen between the characters that would never be written. I already had enjoyed writing fanfiction for TV shows, yet I never really wrote any stories for an anime, and this one imtrigued me so much that I wanted to write stories in which the characters did exactly what I wanted them to do, without leaving out the small characteristics that each character had in the show.
III. WHO ARE YOUR FAVORITE FAIRY TAIL AUTHORS?
I'd say this question is hard, but it isn't. At the time I haven't really read a lot of fairytail books because of school and such, but as I'm starting to read my current favorites are wiltedbliss and Walkerishly . Calista's (wiltedbliss) books are absolutely amazing and well written. Her poetry continues to astonish me and her angsty stories are tragic yet so beautiful in their own way. I've never not once enjoyed her stories (except when my inner self wishes her stories didn't always end so sad) yet even then I didn't dislike them. Her stories are so well written and easy to read, and you should check out my favorite book by her Tristful. You will surely enjoy it. Secondly, Ani (walkerishly) writes a large variety of books, from the fluffiest of fluff to the angstiest of angst. Everyone of her books are so amazing, well written, and I have never struggled reading one of her books. They're all so amazing, and theres not much to it except they're really just a work of art.
IV. WHO IS YOUR FAVORITE FAIRY TAIL CHARACTER AND WHY?
Juvia is honestly my favorite fairytail character honestly because of how much I relate to her. She's such a lovestruck girl who keeps chasing the boy who won't pay her any attention. And she's just her own, bubbly person who is extremely brave and courageous, and my love for her just developed naturally and I can't say I am mad at it.
V. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FAIRY TAIL SHIP AND WHY?
I'd say Gruvia, but I am going to have to go with Gajeel and Levy (gasp!). I honestly think they're so sweet, and further in the show I grew a soft spot for them. It's so adorable how he is super protective over her and how shy she is. I also love how she is very outgoing at times and goes out of her way to protect Gajeel as well. It's very sweet and I absolutely love it. Update: Calista has influenced me and Gajeel is the cutest cinnamon roll of all.
VI. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE FAIRY TAIL ARC AND WHY?
My favorite Fairytail arc has to be the Tower of Heaven. This is pretty early in the show, but I enjoy it greatly because it introduces you to Erza, as for a while you really just only know she's a strong, S-Class, woman. This arc introduces more into her background, and how she spent her life. Also a lot about how she met Jellal and pretty much how their lives were back then. It introduces the backstory of super introvert characters, and gives you a soft spot for both of these amazing characters.
VII. WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT THE FAIRY TAIL FANDOM?
My favorite thing would honestly have to be that the fandom is very welcoming and sweet. There is hardly ever controversy in the fandom, and everyone is honestly treated as family. It's one big family that never ends, and I hope you people enjoy it as much as I do.
