I hobbled as quickly as my leg allowed to the dresser and sifted through the clothes within. There wasn't much in the way of choices, but I found a loose shirt that would hide the crystal and a pair of baggy pants that wouldn't slide down my backside as I moved around. The blood on my skin was half-dry, but I didn't have the time to attempt to clean it off. I brought the clothes over to the discarded items. I grabbed the belt without the buckle and it proved to be large enough to wrap around my waist a little more than once. I also grabbed one of the torn shirts and then limped back to the bed.
