Before I give it to you, I must explain this haiku. Have any of you ever heard of Lord Alfred Tennyson, to begin with? Yes? No? Oh well, it was a mainly rhetorical question. Well, he has these beast quotes that I absolutly adore, and my favorite being as follows:
“May make my heart as a millstone, set my face as a flint,
Cheat and be cheated, and die; who knows? we are ashes and dust.
-Alfred, Lord Tennyson, “Maud”
Pretty snazzy, eh? I thought so as well. Well, I based my poem off of it, using the last line, sort of. Mrs. H appreciated the gesture, and I got some extra credit, score! This little number here is a haiku, per Mrs. H's request. So, here goes nothing, my dear readers. This is my (roughly considered) masterpiece!
If we are ashes,
If we are dust, take a breath
And blow me away.
-Zeetta
Did'ja like it?! Let me know! Or, you know, you could just keep on scrolling and not give a four-legged flark about my work. That's probably what I would do. Gosh, I sound like a horrible person. If I told you that I recently hugged a person, would that even out my a**hole levels? I hope so, or else I'm screwed. ANd down one shirt, since the person I hugged was quite dirty... Anyway, I'll post another soon. Soooooooooo you're still reading, huh? This must be fun, just reading away at my rambling, I know it's fun to listen to in my head. For sure, bro! Okay, I'll stop now. Have a nice day, live long and prosper, and if you have a problem, go find someone that gives a zap.
