Theory 1: Weredad is based off of Beauty and the Beast.
The beast keeps Belle in a cell before she gets her own room like how Marinette was placed in the cell made of vines.
Belle also got lost in the castle and went to the west wing while Marinette got lost in her maze of a cell.
Belle was fascinated with the rose and wanted to touch it while Marinette got to the rose and it turned to dust.
Theory 2: Chat Noir and Marinette started to like each other (slightly if at all). At the end of the episode the ending slide show Chat Noir looking at Marinette like he cares for her more than just a friend, with loving eyes.
Also during the ending slide, Marinette was looking and smiling at the PINK rose caringly.
Theory 3: MariChat didn't improve. Adrien/Chat Noir gave Marinette a pink rose. And Chat gave Ladybug a red rose. Red roses mean love as in romance while pink roses mean friendship in like a Chinese culture or something like that. (Found that on Instagram).
