As soon as I step inside the shop, I see flowers and vines around wooden poles at the corners of the shop, and tree branches sprouting from a fake tree on one side. I saw many people in line ordering and sitting down on wooden chairs and tables. I made my way to the long line of exhausted clients waiting to be served.

Fifteen minutes later, I walked up to the counter being greeted by a blonde haired boy with plump pink lips with his elbow on the counter and his chin resting on his palm. His name tag read Jimin.

He smiled up at me. "Hello, welcome to Naiad Cafe, may I take your order?" He asked in a friendly manner.

"I'll have an espresso with foam please." I answered. He nodded and spoke to a boy behind him. "Your order will be right with you." He printed out a receipt and gave it to me.

As I was heading to sit down on a table, I felt a tap on my shoulder.

"Um, excuse me?" I turned around and stood face-to-face with a black haired boy with bunny teeth wearing a turtle neck under a white shirt. I cocked my head and looked at him curiously. "N-name?" he asked.

"Aerum. Choi Aerum." He quickly wrote it down on a piece of paper, nodded and smiled as he scampered away behind the counter. I sat down on a table.

I personally wasn't aware this was some kind of flower boy coffee shop. No wonder so many people waited to go inside here.

A few minutes later I heard my name being called at the counter.

"Choi Aerum?" The black-haired boy called out. I stood up and ran towards the counter grabbing the cup and leaving five dollars on the counter. I scampered back and sat down on the table. I wrapped my hands around the cup to warm them a bit, then took a big sip of the espresso, letting out a satisfied sigh.

This might be the best cup of coffee i've ever tasted. Soon, I finished the whole cup and left the shop. Today I didn't have class and it was my day off, so I decided to meet with my friend.

I walked back to my apartment, holding my coat close to me, shivering. I entered the lobby and went on the elevator. As I arrived at my floor I walked to my apartment I was getting my keys out before someone called my name from behind me.

"Choi. Aerum! Where were you?! Where have you been?! Are you alright? Did anything happen to you? I was waiting out here for literally ever! I was so worried!-" Hana continued going on and on as I unlocked my door and went inside, being blasted by the warmth of my heater. Hana looked at me in disbelief and stomped, crossing her arms and following me inside.

"I can not BELIEVE you would leave me waiting out there. ME! You're best friend! I was freezing! Do you know how long I was waiting for you out there?!" "Okay, okay. I might've lost track of time but I was checking out this new coffee shop-"

"Coffee shop?! What if you were kidnapped? Or worse, murdered?!" I rolled my eyes and laughed. "Murdered? In a coffee shop? You're kidding."

"Hey! It could happen!" Hana was currently taking a major in law, in Seoul University, same as me. She was an overly overprotective friend.

"Okay, fine. Can we just cut all that nonsense and do something else? I'm starving."

Hana grumbled. "Well, you live here. Go cook something up!" I groaned and slowly made my way to the kitchen. I took out the pans and made us some scrambled eggs with bacon and waffles.
