Christmas Candle

"Ah! I'm late!" yelled the raven male as he looked at his watch "See you later Mafu" the raven then planted a kiss on his lover and took the piece of bread from his plate that his lover made

"See you later Soraru-san" the albino bid goodbye as he watch his lover's figure disappear, he then sighed and sat on his chair eating the toast he made

One month has passed since they started dating at first they were acting lovey-dovey but as time passes they started acting neutral, they just kiss on the lips and say 'I love you' to each other without one of them getting flustered it was due to Soraru's job he always comes home late when Mafumafu is already asleep and often gets angry due to lack of sleep. Mafumafu told him to take a day off but stuborn Soraru always deny and say its for them

Mafumafu looked at the empty chair across him and the empty plate, he once again sigh and took his plate and Soraru's to the sink to wash them after washing the plates he sat in the couch and made himself comfortable turning on the tv, after some hours he finally got bored by watching the tv and glance around the room, when he saw the calendar he noticed that today was December 23 'Ah! I forgot Christmas is coming! I should buy something for Soraru-san!' Mafumafu thought as he turned off the tv and skip his way to the bathroom after taking his towel

Another day and Soraru was in a hurry again because he overslept as well "Soraru-san remember-" Mafumafu was suddenly cutted off by Soraru

"Sorry Mafu, I need to go now bye see you later" Soraru spoke and planted a quick kiss on Maafumafu's lip, he hurriedly went out of the apartment

Mafumafu smiled to himself softly 'I'm going to suprise Soraru-san later!' Mafumafu thought his eyes with determination, he acted immidiately, he started cleaning the whole apartment after he finished cleaning he sat for a while and took a deep breath and exhale

"Aaah..." he placed his hands on his chest and took another deep breath and exhale, he once again stood up "It's getting worse..." he sighed and continued cleaning

Soraru was done on his work, he sighed and slouched on his chair 'I can finally go home' he thought and looked at his watch it was already 11 pm. When he thought he can finally go home

"Etto... sorry Soraru-san boss extended our time soo... you can't go home yet" a blonde short-haired girl spoke with a frown "Even tho its going to be Christmas eve in an hour..." she mumble

"Dang it..." Soraru sigh as rested his head on his table and frowned "Thanks for telling me Lon..." Soraru thanked, Lon replied with a hum and walk away 'I should call Mafumafu' Soraru thought and took out his phone dialing Mafumafu's number after a while Mafumafu finally answered

"Moshi Moshi Soraru-san?"

"Hey Mafumafu, are you already sleeping? I'm sorry if I wake you up"

"No, no, it's alright, beside I wasn't sleeping yet"

"That's suprising, why are you sill awake at this hour?"

"Eh? Don't tell me you forgot it?"

"What do you mean? Anyways are you staying up till midnight?"

"Of course! *cough**cough* Ah *cough*"

"Wha- Are you okay?"

"Yeah! I just *cough choke on my *cough* saliva hehe"

"Idiot"

"Oi!"

"Haha"

"Hey Sorarun" a deep voiced called, Soraru faced the guy

"Oh hey Suzumu" Soraru replied, Suzumu seemed to notice that Soraru was on the phone

"Talking to your girlfriend?" Suzumu asked with a smirk as he leaned on Soraru's desk, Soraru smiled

"You could say my 'future wife'" Soraru corrected as he rolled his chair to fully face his friend

"I'm sorry to ruin your talk with your 'future wife' but boss wants you to check this and he wants it done ASAP" Suzumu handed Soraru the papers he was holding

"Yeah... thanks for delivering it..." Soraru sighed and took the papers and talked to Mafumafu again on the phone

"Hey Mafu"

"Soraru-san! I thought you forgot about me! Who were you even talking to?"

"Suzumu"

"Oh, why?"

"Another paperwork..."

"Eh... I thought you're on your way home..."

"Well... boss extended our time... are you sure you'll wait for me?"

"Yes! I am certain! I'll wait for Soraru-san!"

"Okay then bye love you Mafumafu"

"Love you too Soraru-san bye!"

Soraru ended the call with a sigh, oh how he wish he was at home right now sleeping in his fluffy bed

Mafumafu stare at his phone, Soraru just ended the call and he felt lonely again 'I'll wait for Soraru-san... I'll definitely wait for him... I'm going to celebrate Christmas with him...' Mafumafu thought as he smiled sadly to himself

In a dark room the candle's light is the only light the albino was there sitting alone in a chair, a table with a cake and a candle on top of it was placed in the center of the table and two plates. Mafumafu looked at the empty chair for his lover that was across him and frowned

Mafumafu waited for minutes and 30 minutes had passed "The candle's light is about to go out..." Mafumafu mumble as he looked at the candle in the cake "I'm... feeling a bit sleepy..." he yawn and rested his head on his arms, he felt his eyelids getting heavier and before he closed his eyes he spoke "Good night... Soraru-san... I love you"

"So how was your day Mafumafu?" Soraru asked before putting a spoonful of the piece of cake in his plate after he gulped it he talked again "Mine was very tiring as you can see... it was very boring and lonely because you're not there... did you know I was thinking of you all the time while working?" he asked with a smile on his face

He chuckled "Of course you know... after all you're always by my side my angel..." he spoke and frowned a little putting down the spoon he was holding "What did you do while I was gone?" he asked "What were you thinking while I was gone...? What were the words you said before you closed your eyes...?" he continued as he fully frowned

He let out a long sigh and closed his eyes stopping the tears that are threatening to fall, he opened his eyes again forcing out a smile "It's been a year since you were... gone Mafumafu... Merry Christmas... I love you..." he spoke as he stare at the empty chair across him
