"Hey, what's your name?" She asked him cheerfully.

"Jang Yunseo" he answered.

She nodded with her lips forming an 'o' shape. Naree stopped for a moment, and widened her eyes.

"You're the top student from A class right?" She asked in awe while pointing at him.

Yunseo just nodded.

"I wish I can reach that too" she sighed.

"I think you can" he encouraged her.

"That's impossible, I can't even make it into top 100" she pouted.

"You should work harder." He told her.

"Yeah~" she replied.

"Btw from what class are you?" He asked Naree.

It took her seconds to answer, "Class E" she mumbled.

"Oooh" he nodded.

Then suddenly, Naree's phone ringed indicating that she have a new notification.

New Message from Haruto👼

Haruto👼:
Meet me at the school's garden.

Me:
Okay~

Naree looked at Yunseo for a moment before getting up from her seat.

"Will you be okay here? I'll go now." She informed him.

"Yeah" he nodded.

Naree bit her lip, unsure if he'll be fine when she leave.

"Give me your phone" Naree told him.

Yunseo widened his eyes. "Yah! Give it to me now!" Naree ordered.

He do not know what's with her, but then handed it to her.

Naree typed something on the screen before handing it back to him.

"Here, that's my number. Text or call me when you need me." She said before flashing a smile.

"I'll go now, be safe~" she bid before storming out of the clinic.

Yunseo smiled staring at his phone screen.

What's with her?" He mumbled while laughing at what she did.

Naree arrived at the school garden but Haruto isn't there. She walked to a bench before fishing her phone from from her skirt's side pocket.

"Where is he?" She mumbled while looking at her phone.

When suddenly, someone put an ice pack on her side.

She looked up seeing Haruto standing behind the bench.

"You startled me!" She said while clenching her left chest.

But sadly, Haruto didn't say anything or even reacted.

She pouted, and glanced at the ice pack he brought.

"What's that for?" She asked.

He sat beside her before answering, "How can you took care of others when you can't even take care of yourself" he replied.

"What?" She asked again with furrowed brows.

"Oh-ooh" she stuttered when Haruto looked at her legs.

"I forgot about it again." She pouted.

Haruto kneeled in front of her which surprised her.

She moved a little, unsure of what he's doing. "What are you doing?" She asked again and again.

He took the ice pack, "I'll treat it for you" he said plainly.

"H-huh?" Her eyes widened in shock.

"Put that closer" he ordered, referring to her legs.

"Are y-you serious?" Widening her eyes more.

He looked at her and rolled his eyes. "Do it now, or you'll be late in class" he said.

Naree sighed before bringing her legs closer to him.

Haruto put the pack on the bruise which made her gasped a little. Then the atmosphere became heavy, well just for Naree.

"You shouldn't do that" Haruto broke the awkward silence.

"Wh-what?" She asked, puzzled.

"The one you did earlier." He replied.

"If I didn't then he might kill the boy" she said sadly.

"We can handle him though" he told her.

"But you weren't doing anything." She rolled her eyes.

"You should think first before doing something, you must think of yourself first before anything else." He scolded her.

Naree gulped before looking down.

"And now you put yourself in trouble." He shook his head.

"I can handle myself though. It's not like I'll let him do something to me" she said nervously.

Haruto sighed, "You do not know what he can do. No one can protect you from him"

"I can protect myse-"

Haruto looked away, "But me." He cut her off.

Naree looked at him in awe. She do not know how to react, he made her frozen in her spot.

Then the bell rang.

Naree sighed. Thanking the bell for helping her to survive from that unknown awkward situation.

"I-I think I sh-should go n-now" she said nervously.

Yah Song Naree! Why so nervous huh? She thought to herself.

Haruto nodded before standing up and taking the packet away from her legs.

She stood up. "Thank you, I'll go now" she told him before running away.

Haruto stayed there, rewinding the words he just said.

"What's with me lately? Ah Haruto you're doomed." He mumbled while facepalming.
