<3rd Person POV>

"Hey can I talk to you for a minute?" Alyssa asked Sarah.

"Sure." she replied.

"Alright. So, I know what happened with your mom..."

Oh boy here it comes... Sarah thought.

"What happened with your dad?" Alyssa questioned. She normally wouldn't push things like this, but maybe, she thought, maybe it would be useful.

Sarah took a deep breath in a began her story.

"This is what happened to my dad."

<Flashback~Sarah's POV>

I was walking home from school, winning the math competition. I was quite happy in fact until I walked through my front door.

There was my dad and my mom arguing so loud, it would almost instantly break your eardrums. I was afraid I had gotten deaf, as some of there yelling was getting covered up by a ringing sound. I walked around my parents, and decided to eavesdrop from my room. Well, that is, if this ringing stopped. I dropped my backpack and took my homework and a pencil out, in case they came in my room. To them, it should look like I was busy doing my homework.

"IM NOT GONNA LET SOME B**** LIKE YOU GET ME FIRED FROM MY JOB. I NEED IT FOR MY TOBACCO, YOU LIL ARSE HOLE! YOU ON THE OTHER HAND, MEAN NOTHING TO ME!" hollered my dad.

"You... you lousy blue-blooded pompous! Should I have never married you!" Mom screamed.

"You were stupid enough. I only used you to get close Lauren." said my dad.

Lauren... mom's best friend. Dad must have cheated on mom. And mom must have found out.

"Well, then you could have divorced up with me the right way instead of making out with her right in front of my face!" Mom shouted.

I opened my door and walked into the shouting couple. I didn't care anymore. I was tired of this stupid game. They both saw me, and looked down upon me in shock. They didn't know that they had just took it too far.

"Dad, it isn't mom's fault that she caught you with another girl. You could of just told her. We could have prevented this argument. Since you made mom have a loss, you will also have a loss." I grabbed a knife and drew it three times over my eye. Pain spiked from very direction. I commanded myself to not show any pain. "I draw this knife across my eye three times. You have three minutes to get out of this house. If you don't..." I held the knife up. It had my blood stained on the tip. "Then you meet your own risks. You break mom's heart, you put nails on my throat. You'll regret this day. Once Lauren finds out what you did, she won't like you ever again. She'll remember you as the man who broke her friend's heart by getting closer to her. You won't find love ever again. I swear it on my life. Now, GET OUT."

Dad gulped down his bile and went up to his room.

My mom looked at me with shock. "Sweetie, you didn't have to... we could have just argued and you wouldn't have this scar on your face."

"Everyone hides pain. I have done it too. This way, he will always remember what he did to his daughter." I adjusted my hair from a ponytail, to down. Half of my hair blocked my right eye. I'll look like this from now on. And let us not speak of this situation ever again."

<Back to reality...>

"So... that is what happened to my dad and why half of my hair covered half of my face." Sarah removed the right side and showed Alyssa her scar, unblemished and glowing crimson red. "I'm not blind in the eye but whenever someone makes me mad, my eye will glow red. Sometimes I see fractions of the future when someone is about to die. Yesterday, it told me that someone close was going to die soon."

"That sounds terrible. But so does this. Being pitiful... its to empty. Oh I'm sorry your parents died! It must be horrible having dyslexia and ADHD! I feel utterly and completely sorry for your loss."

The blondie nodded. "I don't need pity though. I've faced worse. Fighting criminals and training to be an assassin." Sarah thought for a few moments. "You know what, I think we would be a good duo. Fighting together. I look forward to training with you. I swear though, if this stuff slips out..." stated Sarah.

"I cross my heart. I solemnly swear that I won't tell a soul... or the soulless" promised Alyssa the redette.
