"Really? Your mom arranges your marriage with someone you don't know? Wow I thought that it only exists in fictional world but I guess not." Lucy exclaims in pure shock as she continues to sip on her lemonade.
Lucy is one of my best friends here in Australia. She was the first to know in our circle of friends that I got accepted in YG.
Now, she was the first to knew as well that I am getting married to a complete stranger.
"When will you meet the guy?" Lucy asks, biting on the donut she's eating.
"Tomorrow noon. We're having lunch with his parents."
"You need to dress-up girl! Me and Shinhye will help you tomorrow morning! You need to make a good impression to this maaan you're going to be married." she squealed and before texting someone on her phone that is clearly Shinhye.
"Honestly Lucy, I don't give a fuck if he wouldn't like me. Feeling mutual if it is. I hate it because I felt like my freedom was taken away from me."
She suddenly stopped texting and looked at me weirdly. "Yah, don't hate the man though. Maybe he is stuck as well in the situation like you."
Maybe. I hope that guy is also stuck at the situation like me. I hope.
"I gotta go now Lucy, Mom is calling me, you know." I laughed awkwardly. Looks like she got the message I was saying, I quickly made my way out to hail a taxi to the mall.
As I was searching my wallet on my bag without looking at my direction, I accidentally bumped someone, causing my bag and my stuff to fall in the ground.
"Oh my God, I'm so sorry." I bowed my head in multiple times, not looking at his eyes because of fear.
He was wearing all-black outfit; black jacket, black ripped jeans, black timberlands with his black sunglasses. His orange hair was neatly styled. My mouth agape as I looked at his jawline.
Even though he's wearing his black sunglasses, I can still see his eyes, sparkling. He also looked at me without saying anything. His eyes continued to glint and without knowing, my eyes were also sparkling.
I continued to stare at him, not minding at my stuff that was still scattered on the ground.
And that was the start of everything.
