Simply exhaling in this climate caused a small, white cloud to blur the features of someones face. The air was freezing cold frosted despite the humid feeling of this February morning. The sun was barley glaring over the peak of the surrounding apartments at around 5am. Light was nearly not even visible through the previous heavy nights sky and despite the darkness and its frozen tingle, a certain someone had beaten the sun to its waking. A small, blond, 5'8" teenager was hauling mass amounts of luggage into the back of the small, off white Mini Cooper. Even though he had lived in Canada before he could form a full sentence, the boy would speak through soft tones with a thick British accent. His heritage and accent pulled him apart from other teens his age, so much so it began to give him a bit of an itch just leaving the house. College education was a constant thought in his head and it never stopped to let anything else become of bother- which spurred him to decide to return to Britain for college after 16 long years of being an outsider. Turning around to grab his backpack and passport, he left Canada behind and headed for Montreal Airport.
By time of arrival, the blonds fingers had almost melted into his steering wheel, he was so desperately eager to get out of this prison of a place where he felt uncomfortable. Grabbing a hold of as many bags as humanely possible at one time, the ticket and then his passport. The frontal doors of the airport were waiting, right open, full of opportunity. Every step closer towards leaving, his confidence only heightened. He was picking up pace, walking faster and faster- until passport control stopped him.
"Good morning sir, can I have your passport please?"
Without a word the passport was exchanged and checked. The customs officer was checking the passport, looking over the top of his glasses, "Alright, soooo- Taylor isn't it?"
The young boy fiddled with his sunglasses in between his fingers "Roger Taylor... actually"
The officer checked him over one last time before handing his passport back to him, "Have a safe flight Roger, I hope you enjoy your time in England"END OF CHAPTER 1.
