Chapter 9

At Night School

Lydia's pov

I was looking around the room to find Yui.

'I wonder where did she go' I thought.

I walked around the hall until I saw Kanato.

"Kanato"

"Nee-san"

"Have you seen Yui?"

When I mentioned about Yui, his face darkened. He looked down and I can't see his eyes since his bangs are covering.

"Why are you so care about that mortal?"he questioned. I sensed there's a trace of anger.

"Kanato,she may be sacrificial bride to us but I don't want to hurt her. I want to stop father's experiment. I don't want to hurt human. You know that too."

Suddenly he grabbed my wrist and brought toward his lips and kissed it. I already known what he wants and let him drink my blood. I felt his fangs sank into my skin. Since I'm already used to the pain it doesn't matter to me. As long as I can quench his thirst it's fine. Soon he let go of my wrist.

"She's at rooftop for her punishment"he said and left.

'Punishment? Don't tell me...."
I immediately teleported to rooftop and saw Laito pinned Yui at the wall. He slowly leaned toward her neck to bite.

I immediately ran toward them and placed my left arm in front of him to stop from biting Yui. I felt pain when long fangs pierced through my skin.

I saw Liato's eyes become wide and looked at me with shock and worry.

"Laito,please don't do that. I'm begging you"

Laito slowly loose his grip on Yui and hugged me tightly. I looked up and saw the full moon. No wonder I felt his hunger.

"Yui,please go back. I will be fine"

"But-"

"Listen to me."

"Ok" she nodded and left.

We stilled for a while in silence.

"Nee-san"

"I know,Laito. Just drink. I don't mind"

He pulled away from me a bit and much to my shock his lips fell on my own.

'What is he doing? Laito is kissing me? But why?' I thought.

While I lost in my thoughts he moved his lips on my neck and kissed it before he bit. I felt my blood drained from me. Few moments later,he pulled out his fangs and looked at me with regret, worried and another emotion I can't tell exactly.

"I'm sorry." He apologized.

"It's ok. I really don't mind. Don't be sad." I said and stroke his cheeks.

Laito's pov

Nee-san is really dense. She doesn't know what I'm feeling right now. My feelings,no,all brothers' feelings toward her are more than siblings love. If she keep her guard down, they will devour her completely. She's the only one who was important to me. When I was child there's no one who would paid attention to me but she's the only one who stayed beside me. Whatever I wished,she gave me. Whenever I sad,she would make me happy.

Nee-san,I really love you. I won't give you to anyone.

3rd person pov

Yui run toward the telephone booth and tried to call her father. As soon as other side picks up she said trembling.
