After confessing and planning the date me and Jake set a date for Friday like any other typical date. Also today is Tuesday and two days past and its Thursday now. And after class Jake told me to meet him at the cafe. So I went to the cafe and sat down at a table next to him. He seemed really awkward and embarrassed at first until...he said.....
Jake: Lola we've admitted we liked each other for a little while now and....I was wondering if......YOU WANTED TO BE MY GIRL FRIEND!........
It went silent for a moment...everyone was looking and than went back to what they were doing...but I realized I haven't yet responded to Jake and he started to look upset. I couldn't believe it I actually froze up. Than all of a sudden I started panicking and it looked like he was about to leave so I said.....
Lola: Jake your right we have admitted we've liked each other for a little while now....and I would like you to know....Of course i would be your girlfriend!
I could see him getting happier and I'm pretty sure I said it just in time. And I think everyone was staring at us because all of a sudden it got really quiet.
The next day......
Than came the day of our first date. Friday at 7:00. So I started getting ready and next thing I now its 6:43. And so I started hurrying,ran down the stairs,drove to the movies and hurried to the steps. After a few moments of panting I look up and I find Jake with the most histarical and biggest grin on his face. Than Jake said....
Jake: Are you.... he he... Okay?
And I was extremely embarrassed...
Lola: Uhhhhh.....yeah,.. yeah sorry I was Just hurrying...Sorry for making you wait so long.
Jake: No no..your not late at all its 6:58.. Your two minutes early.
Lola: Oh thank goodness..Ok you ready?
Jake: Am I ready?..That's what I should be asking you...he he...But yeah lets go.
Than after going in, getting snacks, we went in the theater to watch the movie. But nothing really happened besides people making out all around us and we were holding hands. Until later on when Jake brought me to the dorms and walked me up, we kissed, and said our good byes, and good nights. And that was out first date it seemed like it was just a typical, original date. But don't get me wrong I enjoyed spending time with him but that was our date, our first date.❤
