A fragment from Chapter III ;)
A small squeak was heard from his desk. Maybe... Two?
He took a glance, now spotting the bat he had healed the other day, but...
Encre tilted his head in confusion, seeing that his little friend had a much, much more massive bat next to him.
He tried to approach it, but it started hissing loudly, seeming very aggressive towards the painter.
The pink and orange bat looked at the other one. Only then Encre realized that the other creature's wings were painted the same as the smaller, just that the color palette was different. A flaming, bright red, fading into orange, yellow, and finally, to a bright sky blue.
