he reaches to hug her and she
backs away in fear
knowing hands before his
haven't been so dear
she's filled with fright
at such a wonderful sight
you see love didn't treat her all

that's why she walks around in
this shell
she really wants love to be real
but she can't help how she feels
she fights all of her feelings
because she needs healing
he gives off this presense of love
so she looks for advise up above
