Getting into Hell was one thing. Trying to drag a stubborn Winchester out of Hell was another. Dean Winchester believed he belonged in Hell. He believed that he was damned to Hell all his life.

When I had first seen him he had tears running down his face. His shirt was ripped apart and covered in dirt, blood, and sweat. He was carving a soul and yelling profanity constantly. But he was yelling at himself. Upset that he had given in. The words 'weak' and 'you deserve to rot in Hell' constantly escaped his mouth.

Trying to convince him that he didn't belong here, trying to convince him that he needed to follow me, trying to convince him to put the knife down took days. Honestly he was never supposed to be in Hell as long as he had been. As far as he's concerned I dragged him out in just a few seconds. But what he doesn't understand is the strength and the amount of time I spent clawing our way out of Hell. It was gruesome and it lasted months. But it was worth it.

Yes this is a very very short chapter. But I'm introducing Cas' point of view on what happened whilst dragging Dean out. The next couple of chapters will be the the journey of raising Dean from perdition.
