This image is pretty distinct from the others because it's more of a scene and holds more of a meaning than most of my drawings.
The girl's name is Tessa and she's crying because of the loss of an important person in her life. The title is a twist on "Good morning" but she's actually mourning a loss.
Tessa went to school normally on Friday. Shortly after arriving she was called to the office during first period. She wasn't alarmed just surprised because they said to pack up her things for dismissal. When she reached the front desk her Grandmother was waiting there. They got in the car while Tessa patiently waited for her grandmother to talk. The Grandmother told Tessa that that her mother had died while she was at school. As you can imagine, Tessa broke down.
When she got home she ran into her backyard a picked a flower from her mother's garden and realized that flower was dead too. This drawing portrays that scene.
Good Mourning, Tessa.
