I was making my way home from my second job and walked past by a cafe and saw a sign that they needed new employees, i walked in and looked around i made my way to the counter and asked the person there if i could see the manager "wait here i'll go get him" she said chewing her gum, she walked into a room and a few seconds later a man came out "what do you need kid" he asked "umm, i saw that you were hiring people and so i came here" i said "come to my office" he said letting a chuckle out, we went inside and sat down "are you sure you want to work i mean look at you, you look weak" he said "yes, i'm sure sir" i said after him asking me questions he told me my work hours and when i will start i made my way home, i was getting worried on how i was going to be able to work in the afternoon if i worked at a convenience store during the morning and at a library in the afternoon and at a restaurant in the night (or evening ʅ（◞‿◟）ʃ)i got home and went to see my mom laying down on her bed "hey mom, how are you feeling, have you eaten, did you take your medicine yet, do you ne-" i asked until she interrupted me "you worry to much about me and yes i have eaten and took my medicine and I'm okay and i need you to worry about yourself look at you honey" she said "no mom I'm okay are you sure you don't need anything"" yes honey I'm sure" she said with a soft and caring smile "I'm sorry mom i have to go to work again" i said "don't overwork yourself please"she said concerned "no I'm not and we need the money i also have extra money to save up for your surgery" i said "ohh, you are always so kind and caring i love you so much" she said "i love you so much too mom"I always feel bad for leaving my mom alone everyday for most of the day but I have to in order for my mom to get better
