Chapter 1~ Finally Home

Luke's POV

I have been on tour for the past couple months, I hate being away from my family for months at a time. I pull into the driveway and smile as I see the boys playing in the yard. I jump out of the truck and run over to the boys.

"Daddy!!!" Bo and Tate yell in sync as they run over and jump on me.

"Hey boys, I've missed y'all sooooo much!" I greet them. I release them from the hug and put them down. "Give me a minute to go see mommy and put my stuff up." I walk in the house and smile as I see Caroline in the kitchen cooking lunch. I run upstairs and put my suitcase in our room.

I then quietly sneak back downstairs and into the kitchen. I walk up behind Caroline and wrap my arms around her.

"Luke!" She yells as she turns around and kisses me with passion. I smile down at her and kiss her once again.

"I love you so very much." I tell her as I hug her tightly.

"I love you so much too." She tells me as she leans up and kisses my cheek. "You look great by the way, Luke."

"Awe, thank ya baby, so do you." I smile. "I'm gonna go play with the boys for a while." I inform her. I walk outside and grab a baseball.

"Daddy! Daddy! Throw it to me!" Tate yells. I smile at him and toss it to him.

"Good job, buddy!" I yell as he catches the ball.

After a while of playing with the boys, we get called in for lunch.

"Carol, baby, I think I'm gonna go upstairs and take a nap. I am exhausted. " I tell her as I finish eating.

"Okay, baby." She answers and kisses my cheek. I walk upstairs and lay down in our soft bed, it is so nice to be home with my amazing little family.
