Christmas Special: Christmas surprise: Jellal X Reader

Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a great Christmas (or whatever you celebrate and if you don't celebrate anything that's ok to!) hope you have a good one and day/night! Enjoy the story! (Sorry its late! I was busy and didn't have time to type! I'm so sorry everyone!)

You were walking around the town of Magnolia, looking for some more Christmas supplies for the guild. Every year the Fairy Tail guild has their famous Christmas party that everyone everywhere/anywhere, can join. But even though the guild was already full of Christmas decorations, Mira wanted more, so she sent you to town to get more. And while you were in town you ran into a blue haired male.

"Hey Jellal!" You said cheerfully, tapping his shoulder with a giant smile. Jellal turned around, with his cloak hood up, and smiled when he saw you.

"Hey (Y/N). What are you doing here?" Jellal asked and chuckled a little when you pouted.

"Mira sent me to get more Christmas decorations for the guild. What are you doing here in town?" You asked curiously and Jellal looked around before looking back at you.

"I'm just wandering right now. Nothing important." Jellal said and you nodded. You both then just stood there in silence before an idea came to mind.

"Hey Jellal are you busy tonight?" You asked and Jellal looked at you confused before shaking his head. Your face light up and a bright smile came to your face.

"Well then you should come to the guild! We're having our Christmas party tonight! And I-we would love to have you there! I will be waiting for you, so you better come! Don't let me down ok? I really want you there." You said and Jellal looked at you shocked before looking down with a sad expression.

"I don't know (Y/N)... it might not be a good idea. I don't think anyone will want me there, except for you." Jellal said and you huffed.

"I know everyone will be perfectly fine if you come..." You looked down with a small blush before sighing and continuing, "Then would you at least come for me?" You asked looking up at Jellal with puppy dog eyes. Jellal just couldn't say no to you. So with a sigh, and a small blush Jellal nodded and you gave him a bright smile, as you ran up to him, and gave him a hug.

"Thank you Jellal!" You yelled and Jellal nodded and hugged you back. When you finally pulled away, you remembered why you came to town in the first place.

"Sorry Jellal, but I gotta go. I have to get the supplies and hurry back to the guild before theu start to worry. So bye! See you tonight, at the guild!" You yelled as you gave him a apologetic smile, a small wave, and started running away. Jellal stood in the same spot watching your retreating back with a small smile.

When you got back to the guild Mira started scolding you for taking so long. But that quickly ended as you both started hanging up the new Christmas decorations and talking, which you told her about your crush on Jellal and how you were expecting him to come tonight. When you both got done putting everything up and getting the food and drinks out as well as moving some of the tables off to the side, you realized you only had a couple minutes until the guild opens for guests to come in. So you both headed off into the back and got changed into santa themed dresses and went back to the front of the guild, opening the doors. When the guild doors opened, you were greeted by a giant crowd of people. You smiled as Mira started to talk.

"Welcome everyone! To the Fairy Tail guilds Christmas party! You may all come in now!" Mira announced and the crowd cheered. You and Mira stepped off to the side as everyone cheerfully rushed into the guild. When the last person went into the guild, it was already a bustling party, which made you smile. Mira walked inside the guild to join everyone and your friends, but you stayed outside waiting for a certain blue haired male. You noticed Mira put up a mistletoe in the door way so as new people walked by you and inside they kissed. You also noticed Freed staying by the door, no matter what as well. You just shrugged it off as you waited for Jellal. After a couple more minutes of waiting, you notice your blue berry haired friend in the distance, walking towards you. Your faces lightens up with a bright smile as you waved at him.

"Jellal!" You called and Jellal looked up towards you with a small smile, and a blush when he saw you, as you noticed he wasn't wearing your cloak. Jellal walked a little faster and when he got close enough to you, you reached out and gave him a hug, which he returned with a brighter blush.

"I'm so glad you came! Thank you! I knew you would!" You said cheerfully as Jellal nodded with a smile.

"Yea of course, I told you I would." He said and you nodded pulling away from the hug and looking Jellal in his dark brown eyes with your (e/c) eyes.

"Lets go into the guild yea?" You asked forgetting about the mistletoe. Jellal nodded and you both started to walk in until you hit an invisible wall. It was on of Freed's enchantments/runes.

"Freed! Let us out!" You yelled as Freed and Mira walked in front of you both, with evil smiles/smirks. Freed shook his head and pointed above your guys head. You both looked up to see a mistletoe and gasped.

"You will not be free until you both kiss, that is the rule of this rune." Freed explained as yours and Jellal's faces burned bright red as Mira giggled at you two. You looked up at Jellal and before either of you could say anything Mira spoke up.

"And it has to be on the lips!" She declared and your faces burned even brighter. You saw Jellal gulp as he slowly leaned down, closer to your face, and slowly closed his eyes as you did the same. You could feel his breath on your lips before your lips met. All of your guild members who were there and watching, cheered. The enchantment went down, but you both didn't stop kissing. When your throats started to burn from the lack of air, you pulled away panting and smiling, same as Jellal. You both sat there with your foreheads on each other, smiling at each other, looking into the others eyes, and trying to catch your breaths. When you both could breath normally again, Jellal spoke with a smile.

"I've been wanting to do that for a while." You smiled back at him.

"Me too."
