Knowing very well that breakfast was in the morning, he slept on his plan thinking about it very carefully and if it was the right thing to do. He was planning on killing himself because the unbearable situation he was in escalated and the years he would serve on the inside were too far stretched.

In the cafeteria earlier that morning he isolated himself from everyone else and ensured to proclaim to the warder that he was not hungry and if he could help tidy up the kitchen in the meanwhile. He was granted permission by the warder unquestionably and he was soon at the entrance of the kitchen. The kitchen staff usually used cheap cutlery and perilous objects as well. As he was tiding up the disorganized kitchen he came across a portable sharp knife and slid it into his pants where nobody would find even if they attempted to search him. Fortunately for him the warder was utterly lazy and was never fastidious on the happenings around him and if he did he always turned a blind eye. Jackson stole food from the kitchen on purpose so that he would get caught and sent to confinement in a dark room alone knowing very well that the prison rules were very strict. Eventually he got caught and his wish came true.

The day went by so hurriedly. It was soon lock up time and everyone made their way to their allocated prison cell. That night Jackson was locked up in a cramped up freezing room all alone. The room was extremely dark and warmed up to a little light from the stars shining through a matchbox sized window. He saw his entire life set out before him. He could not help but smile at the memories which were the happiest in his life and would turn to sadness when he thought of those which were entirely horrifying.

He said his last prayer asking for forgiveness for what he was about to do because the emptiness had already gained maximum momentum and unbearable pain began to feed off him .So in a split second the sharp knife he had stolen from the kitchen earlier on found its place on the far left of his heart and he died instantly.

Morning came and his existence was unknown to anybody. He was only discovered dead after six days as their intention was to leave him without water and food as a form of punishment for further committing a crime in prison. At their unruly expense, they found a lifeless body rested at the center of the boxed room and this shocked them immensely. They could hardly believe their eyes. The events that took place could no longer be erased and so it was decided that the prison would take responsibility to cater for his burial at the prison grounds.
