"hello?" Jaebum answers his phone.

"okay" Jaebum grab his car keys and drives away.

"here" Jaebum's eyes meets with the other's.

"hey"

"hey, we never get to hangout lately"

"yeah, you're the one who avoids me" Jaebum chuckles. Him and his cousin smiles.

"why didn't you talk to me when we met in the cafe?" Lucas asks Jaebum curiously.

"uh.....i" Jaebum didn't talk to Lucas because of the jealousy he felt when he saw Lucas with Jackson.

After that day, he naturally avoid Lucas. Both of them are very close but lately, they have different schedules, different classes and no one in school knows they are cousins. Neither do Jinyoung and Youngjae.

When they badmouth Lucas, he just kept quiet and watch. He loves his cousin, I mean as a friend. They care for each other and stuff.

But one question, why do his friends hate Lucas so much?

"I what?" Lucas stares the shorter's eyes.

"I don't know I kinda feel... I'm awkward?" Lucas chuckles.

"you feel awkward? Around me? Since when? You're the most shameless and open around me though" they recall the scene Jaebum dancing in the middle of the road with Lucas like a lunatic.

"shut up" Lucas laughs.

Jaebum was a bright kid, very cheerful and his stupid jokes light up Lucas' day.

Until Jaebum broke up, he lost trust into people and decided to shut himself down.

"so what's up with you these days? Got a girlfriend or something?" Jaebum pick up his latte and starts sipping.

"yeah and I got a BOYFRIEND!" Jaebum chokes.

Lucas chuckle and pats his back.

"w-what since when you're gay?" Jaebum's eyes go big.

"since I meet this cute boy... His name is Jackson. You know the one that you saw me with that day"

Jaebum's heart shrunk.

"ah R-really?"

"yeah I ask him out and I just found out he's been liking me since last year"

So he liked Lucas....
All this time I thought we like each other... I'm wrong, stupid Jaebum! I told you not to get your hopes up!

"Jae?" Lucas taps Jaebum's hand.

"yeah, where were we?"

"nothing. I'm going to my room" Jaebum make his way to his room weakly.

"what's wrong with that guy?" Jinyoung talk to himself.

"who?" Jinyoung flinch.

There stood Youngjae stuffing cheese rings in his mouth.

"Yah you scared me"

"boo" Youngjae laughs.

"so who are you talking bout?"

"Jaebum...."

"what's up??" Youngjae blinks like a cute otter.

"dunno, he just came in from I don't know where looking like he just lost his soul. Oh yeah and he's pouting"

"wait that's cute" Jinyoung mentally facepalms.

"you idiot" Jinyoung steals one cheese ring and stuff it in his mouth.

"yah that's mine!"

"I bought it for you, you remember? " Jinyoung sarcastically rolls his eyes.

"hehe" Youngjae smiles cheekily.
