We had neared our destination and I could see everyone leaving maybe we wouldn't need a diversion. I sighed as I tried to do my mind link with Calliope for the millionth time for years.

I told the others the plan and they agreed as I set out to find this girl who my sister said has kept her alive. When I find her I'll probably hug her for keeping Callie alive.

I was walking down the steps and heard a soft whimper I looked to my left and see a snow leopard sprawled out hurt. But not dead it looked at me as if pleading for me to help it. I walked to it and stood it up it quickly ran off ignoring the limo in its leg. I was about to go down a dark hallway when I smelt the most amazing smell.

Pine and cinnamon.

I followed the scent and could feel my wolf getting excited and restless. I came upon a door and stoped immediately when the smell was stronger in this room. When I opened the door I saw red.

There were three men hovering over a girl that was tied and passed out she also was bleeding bad. And then that's when I smelt it the smell.

I growled and they all stopped and looked at me each one pulling out of her quickly and dodging to me but I already knew what to do. After settling down for a while and growling at the dead bodies that were now in front of me I heard a whimper and my head shot to the side where my mate was trying to break from the bonds while holding her wounds. I quickly shifted into my wolf form before she could see me.

Once I approached her she seemed to realize who I was and she seemed to relax. I helped her out of the bonds and mind linked her.

Before she could answer again she passed out and then it hit me. Jade Baker the blessed wolf. My mate was the blessed wolf. I felt a sudden pain in my chest and noticed Jades slow intake of breaths.
