Chapter 1: The Cake War

Tris was just sitting with Hazel in the dauntless lunch room eating their lunches. Four comes and sits by them but for some reason, is alone. He sits there eating like the wind with no one to talk to. Hazel says,"Hi, I'm hazel." Tris automatically jumps in and says,"Hazel, stop," and pulls her away for a second. "Are you crazy?! You can't just go around talking to people you don't know! Especially not Four!"

Augustus and Will were sitting at the table across from theirs. "Why can't she talk to him?" asks Augustus. "Because, Four isn't very "social" so I suggest you all leave him alone or its on your butt what happens." Tris snaps back. " Okay? Okay." Tris says.

Later that day, Tris sees Four in the hallway and quickly hides in the nearest room. She's too late though. Four notices her avoiding him and goes to talk to her. She hears him coming and sees a secret passage in the closet. She crawls through and it leads to the lunchroom.

Four opens the door and sees that Tris isn't there anymore. He crawls through the passage (which he already knew about) and chases her through the room.

Tris looks back and sees him and picks up a price of dauntless cake and chucks it at Four. Four ducks and it hits christina in the chest, who was standing behind Four. Christina falls down and Hazel comes to her rescue. Tris aims at Four's stomach this time and misses again, hitting Hazel on the ankles and she falls too.

Peter comes and starts taunting Tris which causes her to throw even harder and she aims again, but this time for Four's face. She misses, once again, and hits Peter in the face. He falls down and Augustus comes barging in with Isaac.

Uriah and Zeke both come in with backpacks full of something mysterious. They both shout," CAKE WARS!" and start chucking cake at Augustus and Isaac. Augustus and Isaac both get mad and start throwing trophies at Uriah and Zeke.

Eric comes in, sees the mess, and picks up a chunk of the cake and eats it. "Oooh, my favorite, revenge." says Eric mischeviously. Tris darts off to the training room and Four comes running after her with chunks of dauntless cake in his pockets.
