Wally's Eating Habits

This a short story about Artemis's reaction to Wally's eating over the years of dating. Enjoy!

Year 1
Artemis watched in awe as Wally ate five more burgers in 1 minute.

Wally noticed her staring and said,"If we're gonna be dating, get used to this. I have a fast metabolism,you know."

She knew. He had told her a million times.

He then continued eating.

Year 2
The couple had just gone to a West family party, and with a party full of speedsters, lots of food was prepared. Artemis and Wally were stuffed.

At least that's what Artemis thought.

"Babe, can we stop by Mcdonalds? Please?"
Wally asked. He then put on his secret weapon

The pouty face

Artemis couldn't say no to him now.

"Come on Wally! Why do you have to be so damn cute!" Artemis complained."Fine we can go."

They walked to Mcdonalds, where Wally ordered 10 burgers.

"Wally!"

"I have a fast metabolism."

Year 3
They had been dating for three years now, and Artemis was used to Wally's eating.

Wally had eaten three large packs of fries and was getting started on his fourth.

Artemis could only watch in amusement.
'That's my boyfriend.' She thought lovingly.

Wally saw her staring and teased, "What babe, can't look away?"

Artemis replied,"You're so cute."

"Aww. Thanks babe." He leaned over the table and gave her a kiss.

She blushed and looked away.

Year 4
They went to KFC this time to get some chicken. They ordered a bucket, but Artemis had only eaten one chicken, while Wally had eaten nine.

"Come on babe, you stole all the chicken."
The archer complained.

"What can I say-"

"Fast metabolism, i know"

She went to the counter and ordered one more bucket.

And she wouldn't share.

"Oh come on!"

Year 5(Valentines Day)
Wally sat at their table at Palo Alto, clutching a bag of donuts.

"Would you look at that, Wally's eating donuts and not some fast food."

"Hey,speedsters can eat something besides fast food."

"Wally, look!" Artemis called him.

She opened the fridge and there was....
The whole menu of KFC.

"Babe, your the best."
