Late. (Kiingtong fanfic)

1- Almost.

-Violet P.O.V-

The next morning, I woke up at 5 a.m. to the sound of my alarm. Our flight was at 7:30 that morning and had a layover in Chicago. I needed to pick up Danielle before heading to the airport. 

I walked into my kitchen to find my orange striped cat, Ollie, sitting on the counter. God, I missed him so much. I held him for a few minutes then, fed him before heading back to my room.

I grabbed a pair of sweatpants and an oversized shirt and then headed to my bathroom. I took a quick shower and got dressed. I wasn't going to bother with any makeup today, I'm just going to traveling. 

Now, its 5:45, I called Danielle to tell her that I'd pick her up at 6. I say goodbye to Jason and then go to my car. There is a Dunkin' Donuts on way to her house so I decided to get us some coffee to keep us awake. II'm running a bit behind schedule but, Danielle will love me for what I got her at Dunkin'.

-Danielle P.O.V-

It's 6:10, "Where is Vi?", I thought to myself. It's a good thing the airport is only 10 minutes away and there's usually not a huge line for security. 

Five minutes later, I hear a car pull into my driveway. I grab my bag and said goodbye to my mother before heading out the door. 

"What?", I asked in confusion. 

"Look in your cup holder", Vi replied.

I looked into my cup holder to see my order of Dunkin' Donut's coffee. "You're the best, Vi.", I almost scream.

"I try!"

I laughed as I turned on the radio. "Cool Kids" by Echosmith was playing. Violet and I sang the lyrics the whole way to the airport. Vi paid for long-term parking and then we walked in. The line for security was short, we went through in less than 10 minutes. We walked to our gate and boarded our plane 20 minutes later. 

Vi and I had seats next to each other, we played "Rock, paper, scissors, shoot!" to decide who got the window seat. I won and I proudly sat in my well-earned seat. Violet was pouting in her seat until a guy in a black fedora sat next to her. He was very attractive, he blond-brown hair with green eyes and amazing eyebrows.

He introduced himself to Vi and I, we found out his name was Benn and he was heading to Chicago to meet with his band. We spent the rest of the flight talking to Benn, when we landed in Chicago, we got his number so we could meet him late because he was a really cool guy.

"I think he likes youuu." Violet teased.

"Yeah, right!"

"No, I'm serious, I think he likes you" Violet said. 

I blush the whole walk to the gate for our last fight. 

"We're now boarding all passengers for the flight to Seattle, Washington" We heard on the big speaker. Vi and I are giving each other excited looks, we got up and boarded the plane. I fell asleep before I could see who was sitting next to Violet this time.

I felt a finger poke my cheek, "Wake up, sleeping beauty, we're finally here!", Violet screamed in my face. Once I got myself together, we got off the plane and headed to baggage claim. 

-Violet P.O.V-

On the way to baggage claim I accidentally spoiled the episode of UHC season 9 I watched on the plane while Danielle was sleeping.

"VIOLET", Danielle screamed, "you ruined it for me!" 

"I'M SORRY" I said trying to sound serious and holding in my laughter. I did feel bad, to be honest.

"it's ok but keep you mouth shut next time" Danielle said in between laughs 

We got to baggage claim and I decided to wait for our bags while Danielle got us food. 

"I think I see my bag", I thought to myself. 

I walked closer to the carousel of bags and then I bent down, grabbed my bag and started to stand up when i felt something hard hit my face and my vision went blurry.

"I'M SO SORRY" I heard a voice say before I blacked out.
