I was about to scream in rage and despair because of what my sister has just told me over the phone.
I was about to throw the phone on the ground because of my tantrum but my sister still on the line said
"Well, think positive Robert, maybe the missile wasn't headed towards Silverlake."
Sure, I thought, maybe I'm just assuming the worst possible scenario.
Then Jace said "I couldn't hear what you and whoever you were talking to were blabbering about but my assistant called me and told me that the missiles sent towards Silverville malfunctioned a few kilometers away from it's target."
"It's Silverlake"
He rolled his eyes and continued "I don't care, anyway, it landed in the sea and exploded there."
"Yay"
"So your pressious little town is safe and I'm guessing that is what your phone call was about, with your sister I'm guessing."
I got my phone and I realized my sister was still on the phone and I said into it "It's OK Anna, the missile missed Silverlake, it's safe."
"Good, I was worried sick about everybody in Silverlake."
I hung up on my sister and I looked back at Jace but he was slowly walking away and then he suddenly looked back and said
"You do know He will do all in his power to hurt you, meaning he will probably find a way to put an end to Silverlake."
He continued walking and after he crossed the street a bus passed behind him blocking my view of him, after the bus left there was no sign of Jace at all.
