The school day went by pretty quick today. Now, all I wanted to do was get home, finish my homework so then I could go over to Kaitlin's house.

I quickly, but quietly shut the door and try to sneak past my mother that's in the kitchen paying some bills, so I don't have to answer all her questions about my first day of school. Fortunately I succeed.

I tiptoe upstairs, skipping the creaky steps. I race down the upstairs hall and fling open the door to my room. My room isn't the best room in the house but I make it work. The walls are still pink from when I begged for months to have them painted like that when I was 10. Some pictures are plastered to the wall of family and a few friends. Although my room is one of the smallest, the view out of the windows is amazing. We live near a little beach that people rarely go to. I love to just sit by the window to watch the sunset and just think.

I quickly snap out of my thoughts and take out my few pages of homework. Luckily, we don't have a lot because it was just the first day. I finish a quick and easy math paper in 5 mins and I finished up my English surveys. Because I have some time until I have to go to Kaitlin's, I quickly scroll through twitter.

(A/N: hey guys just wanted to say thanks to the few people who are reading this fanfic. I know it's bad but it's my first one so....ya! Oh and sorry for the really short chapter, I'm going to make the other chapters bigger don't worry!)
