"Why are you not attending the meeting this time? I told you that they wanted to meet you!" Father slightly raised his voice, eyes completely stern as they stared back at mine.

"And I told you that I have some things to do! I can't just back out because of this, stupid meeting!" I argue back as I do this weird gestures with my hand.

"It isn't stupid if it is for you."

"It is stupid because we both know that it is, IN FACT, not for me!" I almost shouted, eyes now glaring at the man that is seated in front of me.

"If you don't behave yourself right now, I will have no choice but to-"

"But to what? Threaten me again? That's it." I snap, standing up from my seat. "I'm out of here." I walk to the door.

Twisting the knob, he speaks behind me. "I'll let this all slip and give you another chance. Go to the meeting later or else--"

"Goodbye dad." I slam the door shut.

A sigh leaves my lips, closing my eyes as I rub my temple. I walk in the elevator, pushing the ground floor button before resting my back on the metal wall. I lean my head back, letting my eyes close on its own with my hands inside my pocket. I hear the elevator 'ding' indicating that the door opened and that probably someone entered, which I pay no attention to as I keep my eyes shut.

A minute or two almost passed and I'm still in the elevator, seeing that my father's office is located at the topmost level of the building. Which is by the way, forty-nine floors from the ground. The way down was spent with my eyes all closed and with the stranger's stare on me. It's either he or she thought that I'm sleeping or she can't just avert her eyes from my gorgeous self. Well, that is if the one with me is a girl. It would be technically creepy if a man is staring at me.

Though, I get it. It can't be helped.

After almost an eternity inside, the door finally opened with the robotic voice saying 'ground floor'. I open my eyes, not bothering to glance at the person beside me as I step out of the small room. I keep walking with my hands still in pockets, almost reaching the front doors when my phone suddenly rings.

Slightly slowing my pace down, I pull out the device, seeing a couple of unread messages from unimportant people and one miss call from Jimin hyung. I was about to press the call button when his name suddenly pops up, indicating that he's calling for the second time.

"Hey hyung."

"Don't hey hey me. Where are you?!"
