ok, this is chapter 3. I have no idea if there going good or what. someone plez tell me. :)
Kari;
It was now 8:30pm. I looked through the window of my new room. It was getting dark. I was getting settled in. An overwhelming feeling came over me. I smiled to my self as I unpacked my clothes into a draw on the right side of my wardrobe. It was huge. My bed was too. King size as a-matter-of-fact. With brown spreads and five big fluffy pillows. Dark green curtains were at both windows. The right next to my bed and the other to the right. It was the first thing you saw when you entered the room. A window being hidden by curtains. And right next to the door on the right, was a table. A cute little table. Thrilled with excitement, I went for my bag on the bed, pulled out my apple laptop and put it on the center of the table. The table was beautifully paint in white with yellow and light green polka-dots. I opened my laptop and got it started. It was a windows 7, but I really wanted to update it to a windows 8. But I guess that's life when you don't have money nor equipments. I heard a quick knock on the door. When my head shot up, I was Kaden. I stood up straight and inhaled slowly. As if I was running out of breath, but only needed a little to keep me breathing.
"Hi," he said first. "H--hi," I said too. He stood at the door with both hands in his pocket. "Umm, I kindda like only came to check up on you. To see if you needed Anything," he pulled his hands out of his pocket and started moving them around. Like I was not a stuttered person, but a dumb one who couldn't hear. "Like moving thingd around or so."
"No, I'm f--fine." I replied with a fake smile. "Ok, you know I have to be nice to you, else I don't know what mom would do if she found out that I dont talk to you and I don't think I wanna find out what she would do." He chuckled so I returned a short and simple laugh too. As he stood there, I couldn't wait for him to leave. Fake smiles and laughs always mad me feel like a liar. I hated the feeling. Silence fell in. Then he said, "anyways ill be in my room if you need help moving anything."
"Y--yeah," I said and he walked away. His room was a little down the hall. I sighed and closed the door.
Kaden, I thought. I loved the name by the way. If I had a son, Kaden is what I'd call him. Before I new it, I was smiling with myself.
Feeling as lame as ever, I quickly whipped the smile from my face and finished unpacking my bag. When I was settled in and ready, I wanted to explore. To see more of this castle. Or at least that's what it was In my eyes. I walked out of my room and down the corridor like-section on the house. I passed kadens room. he said if I needed help with anything I should let him know. But I just wanted to look around not move the house. I chuckled to myself and hurried pass. It was getting darker by the minute.
I went downstairs and into the kitchen. I flinched when I saw the refrigerator. as huge as a damn mountain. My eyes gleamed at it. I went and opened it. Food was lined out like a supermarket. I searched for my bestfriend. and there he was...'milk' there were 5 box of milk neatly set at one side of the fridge. Lettuce, tomatoes, ham, chicken, a large tray of eggs and alot of other things i think I could finish off in one week or less. I smiled and closed back the door. Walking out the back door, I felt the fresh wind rush towards me and forced its way up my nostrils. I inhaled and let it out with a sigh. The yard space was big enough to be a park. the lights come on so i walked outside and explored the grounds. Being lost in my own little world of silence, I didn't hear the low clinging sound of chains moving behind me. I turned to see what it was but only saw little of the object. It was dark, and before I new what it was, I heard low growling. It then flashed in my mind that this was a dog house. running out of it was a huge dog with chains. It began barking, really loud. And that's when I got coward.
"hey, hey, take it easy Blue." I heard someone said to the dog as they came from behind me. He crunched down and started rubing his ears, back and neck. The guy then turned to look at me when the dog was settled. "what are up doing out here? It's getting dark ya know." it was Sean, Kaden's older brother.
"y-yes I k-know. I-I just wanted to s-see outside.
"yeah, well sorry to interupt your 'seeing', he said , putting emphasis on 'seeing'. "but you should get back inside." "S-sure." I turned and walked back to where the back door was. "Hey," he stopped me.
I look at him. "I'm sorry about what happened earlier, and welcome, again." He smiled.
"Thanks." I said with a fack smile.
