You stayed up late this night, more or less up to 4 am. You were reading a fanfic that caught your attention. It talked about genocide, making you remember the run you did. You knew that it was just a game, so you knew that if you reset before killing Asgore it would be fine. You did a neutral before this one, wanting the best ending to rest in your file folder forever. You wouldn't delete Undertale even if your computer had no space left. Even though its a game and you can reset, you disliked having to go through Papyrus opening his arms for you, Undyne melting, Alphys killing herself, Toriel... You did it for fighting Sans and for knowing each route, each dialogue and secret. After a good couple of attempts, you finally killed Sans. Curiosity took over you, and since you knew Sans could remember the times he killed you, you wondered if he would remember you killing him. You reset and walk to the spot Sans stop you. The dialogue changed. "That expression you are wearing... Well, I won't grace it with a description" And the next is all the same. You wanted to try again just in case. It changed again. "That expression you are wearing... You are really kind of a freak, huh?" You tried again but now the text was all the same. You were satisfied, you defeated Sans 3 times. Now coming back to the fanfic, you started feeling your eyes heavy, and trying not to fall asleep, you pass out.
You felt air pushing your back, you were falling. -This is the typical dream in which I'm falling and wake up almost jumping off the bed- you thought. You tried waking up but instead, you felt your back hit something fluffy. You try to stand up, you felt pain in your back and your head even though something made the fall softer. You look at your surroundings and you see something familiar. A high door at the end of a little corridor, pollen surrounding you because you hit the flowers, a... bed of flowers beneath you...
BA-THUMP
A loud thump sounds in your chest. Was this the underground? Was this a dream? You didn't even care, if it was a dream you would love to get the most you can from it, enjoying your time even if it wasn't real. You felt your heart pounding really hard. You carefully inspect your surroundings, wanting to have that image forever in your mind. You then stand up and walk to the entrance where Flowey should be. Before going you take your time to think about what should you do. Flowey and Sans are the only ones who remember resets. Actually, were you in your own game file? Or in a new one? This was all confusing. Maybe you could say Hello, Asriel Dreemur, to impress Flowey and let him know you know who he is or trying to confuse him or trick him into believing you are Chara. The outcome will depend on Flowey but oh well.
You entered the room where Flowey is, automatically recognizing Flowey in the middle of a clear in the dark room. Again, you look at the "Landscape" and smile as you wanted to see this ever since you played Undertale.
"Howdy," Flowey said. Another hard thump in your chest as you were excited about what you were about to do. "I'm Flowey, Flowey the Flower," You said at the same time as Flowey. He looked at you shocked and you continued with his dialogue "You are new in the underground, aren'tcha? Golly, you must be so confused" You smiled at Flowey, his face showing shock. "Someone 'ought to teach you how things work aro-" Flowey cut you off
"ENOUGH! How do you know who I am? My dialogue? If you had played before I would remember!" You smiled kindly at him, kneeling down. Flowey backed a little his stem.
"Greetings, Asriel. Don't you know who am I?" His eyes widened
"Ch-Chara?" You wanted to end this as soon as possible, you didn't want to wake up without at least getting to Waterfall. Toriel then shot Flowey a flame and looked at you. Wow, incredible timing. You slowly stood up, Toriel still a little bit shocked about a human being here.
"Oh, poor human, you must have fallen down! Don't worry, I will show you around and I will take care of you."
"Thank you To- I mean, who are you?" She then told you her name
