*•*•*• JADEN'S POV *•*•*•
"Psst, jaden! Jaden! Wake up!" I heard a voice calling. "Nyeh, leave me alone" I replied. "Dude, seriously wake up! Sir is coming!" the voice continued. "Wha?" I put my head up, eyes half closed. I looked to the left, where I suspected the voice had been coming from, looking over I saw a blurry splodge of blue and red, I rubbed my eyes, to see more clearly. In front of me was my best friend Syrus. Crap. I fell asleep in class again! I looked forward to the front of the classroom after thanking the, blue haired boy beside me.
"Good morning, students! We have a new person joining us today, his name is, Collin, I want you all to make him feel welcomed! Come on in Collin!" As the teacher finished in walked a short boy with brown eyes and short black hair, one side of his head had been shaved. 'odd' I thought.
I was snapped out of my daydream by the teacher speaking again. "Collin, why don't you sit next to, Jaden, he can show you to the rest of your classes." He concluded. Pointing to me.
Collin walked swiftly over to the desk next to mine. "HI!" I spoke, once he sat down. "Uhh.. Umm.. Hi" He said nervously. As he was closer I noticed the shaved part of his head was dyed pink. "I like your hair" I smiled at him. "Thanks.." He replied. He seemed to be staring towards the back of the classroom, I followed his gaze. He and Chazz were giving eachother funny looks.
"Do you know him?" I questioned, nudging him. "Yeah... Kinda.." He replied sheepishly. "How do you know him?" I questioned Collin. "He-" "Am I interrupting something?" the teacher cut Collin off.
"No sir, sorry sir" I answered. "Good" He continued talking to the rest of the class, as I started to write down notes.
*•*•*• AFTER CLASS *•*•*•
"And here we have the gym" I continued pointing out classrooms to Collin. "Cool" He answered boredly. "Am I boring you?" I asked him kindly. "No, I'm just really tired" he answered solemnly."Oh, ok. Do you want me to show you to your dorm?" I asked.
"Yeah, thanks" He answered stretching his arms. "What room is it?" I asked. "Umm, just a sec" he answered shuffling through his backpack. He finally pulled out a white sheet of paper. "It's, dorm 13B" He answered. "Really!? That's my dorm too!" I exclaimed excitedly.
"Looks like we're dorm buddies" I answered, smiling at him. He smiled back, lowering his head slightly.
After a short awkward silence, I finally spoke up. "Well then, let's get a move on then!" I said. "Your luggage should already be in our room" I continued.
"Ok, then" He mumbled back, sleepily. We started walking towards the Slyther dorms.
*•*•*• MEANWHILE IN THE TOOL SHED! :3 *•*•*•
"And, this is our dorm!" I jumped in front of the door, unlocking it. Walking in, I switched on the light. "Nice" Collin commented. "Your beds the top bunk" I smiled at him. "Thank you" He said, whilst climbing the ladder to the top bunk. "That bunk was Chumley's, but he and Syrus moved dorms, I'm not quite sure why.." I trailed off.
"Is Syrus the short kid with the blue hair?" Collin enquired. "Yeah" I replied. "You need any help unpacking?" I continued, walking to his suitcases in the corner of the room. "Uh no thanks! I'm sure I can manage!" He exclaimed hurriedly, but I was already unzipping the large black case.
Opening it, I was shocked at what I found...
